I have not heard him contradicting himself like you claim, regarding the Iraq war, he was against it pretty much from the beginning, he made one fucking comment on a radio show 3 months after the invasion, implying that we should have gone all the way with Gulf war and toppled Saddam them, and the media is trying to use this as proof he secretly supported the Iraq war, despite him being openly against it since it started.

What are you on about? Banning all Muslims gives the image of him rounding them up and kicking them out of hte country, buzz word horse shit. He said he wanted a temporary ban on Muslim immigration until the government could properly vet people, which he changed to temporary banning immigration from countries who have a history of Islamic terrorism towards the U.S and its allies.

Banning all Muslims from the U.S would include kicking the ones out that are already here, which is exactly why the media ran with that headline.

Yes he wanted to temporarily ban Muslim immigration to the U.S. The statement Ban all Muslims would APPLY TO ALL MUSLIMS. Including the ones in the U.S, which is exactly why the press used that.
