Two bugged quests

I have two quests which I can’t start. One is west of Ledetchko. There’s no one to talk. I don’t even know who is supposed to stand there (I quess Matthew). Another one is Fritz who is standing near inn in the Glade. I can’t start the quest. Only talking option is training.

I’m not sure did these bugs occured after “Is a Friend Indeed” quest. When I was doing that quest we run to the hills west of Ledetchko where we was ment to fight against miller or something. I remember seeing tackle option on Matthew and I tackled him. I was thinking it was nice friendly tackle since his my friends. After the tackle Matthew was running like crazy on wrong direction. I went to fighting place and cutscene started. We all three we’re there and won the fight. No one died. Quest done. After that I haven’t seen Matthew.

yeah something like this happened to me on my second playline
i completed the quest Masquerade which is the one straight after “…Is a Friend Indeed” but for some reason i could not talk to matthew or fritz about anything other than training after this, much like what happened to you. I spoke to Andrew, did all his quests, finished the main quest and still no joy
what i think may have happened was they didnt want to talk to me because i had -100 reputation in Skalitz because of a bug. I managed to get this reputation up to +38 but they still would only talk to me on occasion. I also accidentally shot their horses in the night. I didnt know they were their horses and was bored so decided to shoot them to get the saddles to sell.
if something like this happened in your playthrough then that could be the reason they will not give you another quest. Pretty much anything to piss them off (like tackling Matthew) will make them not want to talk to you
when an NPC is running the tackle option will appear no matter who they are. If you go and actually tackle them then that will initiate a fight, again no matter who they are.
