esc key will not allow me to exit from this menu. any help would be much appreciated. tia
Hold down ESC. The little arrow at the ESC key to the lower right corner says so
yea normally it lights up when pressing and holding esc but does not in this menu works in all others
alternatively is there anyway to disable these tutorials as i already have completed the game and this is a new playthrough, and they seem to be the only menu that is bugged
already said esc isn’t working?
Maybe your ESC key does not work proper? On my keyboard i have to press SHIFT very hard 
yea already checked that but works on all other menus
I have the EXACT same issue. I cant get past the tutorial because when the game explains the speech system, i cant exit the tutorial screen. this is ridicolous there has to be a fix for this -.-
Do you always load the same game or will this happen also when you start a new game?
Not sure if this fits your situation, but on PC, with the cheat mod, this issue has been reported, and a fix is given on Nexus Mods
It also occured when i started a new game.
BUT
I fixed it. The issue was the Nvidia Overlay. I simple disabled it and now my ESC button works again ^^
