Undies Ulrich

Summary

So, I chase after Ulrich. Before interrogating him, I steal his sword. (Don’t trust that cagey bastard) I don’t kill him. I get to him in Sasau but it’s late. He’s sleeping in his undies. I carry back up armor on Warhorse Jenda. I know I tagged him good and messed up his armor. I open his chest. All his stuff is there so I swap out his heavily damaged cuirass for 100% Polish cuirass. Then, I wake him up. He agrees to meet me on the hill. He doesn’t get dressed though. He heads out in his undies. I return after finding the hideout. He’s still in his undies. It’s dawn so i think it odd but not much more. Cutscene … we arrive outside the entrance and he’s still doesn’t gear up. I race to take on the guy I believe to the the boss. The other NPCs swarm on me. Where’s Ulrich? Gearing up? No, dead. He died almost immediately … in his undies. I go back to inn and look at his chest. All his armor is still in it.

Anyone else get Ulrich to fight in his undies?

You mean the fight at the silver mines? Yes. I didn´t steal anything from him and didn´t touch the stuff in his chest. I spoke to him while he was sleeping and when we stood in frint of the mines he was in his underweare and only had his sword in his hands. Of course he died in seconds and because I thought he has to survive to complete the queast I loaded an older save. Then I spoke to him while he sat in front of the Inn with his armor on and when we arrived at the mines he was in full armor and equipped with sword and shield.

Yes, correct.

Seems like he should be (programmed to be) smart enough to get dressed for success (combat). Or, if implementing that is too hard, Ulrich should be blocked from talking with Henry till he is fully dressed

He was sleeping at the Inn and I woke him up. He charged to the fight in his under cloths. lol

If the game let me repair or trade companion goods (as in other games :grimacing:), I wouldn’t need to

I teamed up with my Ulrich…but he ended up dying some how(i really don’t remember how) but I just took his shit after he died

I teamed up with him too. But after the last bandit died I acciedentally hit Ulrich and he began to fight against me :smiley: I surrendered because I thought he is important for the quest. Turns out he´s not :smiley:

Interesting fact, Lars is his other name. He’s lived enough of his life in the lime light so he just decided to go by the name Ulrich

Four months later this bug is still alive and kicking! All I did was wake up Ulrich to give him the news and then he took off like a madman in his underwear. i admire his enthusiasm, but he’s terribly unprepared for battle!
