I’ve completed a quest for miller Woyzek where I needed to steal 5 Waffenrocks and a key from Tamberg’s armoury. Well Woyzek took the Waffenrocks but did not remove the stolen key from my inventory, so now I have a quest item in I can’t get rid of. To make things worse every time a guard searches me I get busted like I’ve stolen something. I’ve tested it and removed everything I had but still got the “good thing I’ve stopped you, I’ll have to confiscate this” dialogue. I guess the key is marked as a stolen item but guards can’t remove it from my inventory so I’m doomed to be searched and busted for eternity.
Please fix the quest. I’d also appreciate some sort of a console command to remove the cursed thing from my inventory.
P.S. It seems that I’m not the only one having this issue. According to this post on Steam forums this bug is at least a month old.
