Doesn’t look like anyone has had this happen to them yet, but I’m loading into an unsavable game. It first happened in the monastery, after a nightof collecting torn pages and the goatskin of blood. I went to bed to save, and when I had woke, the game saved, and upon inspection ofthe pause screen, found I could not save again. “Can’t save just now. Try again shortly.” I didn’t notice immediately, of course. I lost a whole day before I realized this had happened, easily 8 hours of play time. So, I load a save from another 4 hours or so back, and had continued on without entering the monastery, instead focusing on side quests, specifically, The Queen of Sheba’s Sword and Next to Godliness. I learned that I cannot complete the Queen’s sword, since I didn’t ask what Pickman could do for me when I had done the Aquarius quest (I was very upset to find out that Henry has to be a rube, basically demanding bribes, and can’t just help for the sake of helping without permanently ruining a quest), and went on to attempt Next to Godliness. Which I finished. And found yet again, I cannot save anymore. I reload the most recent save, just before morning and my quest log says to check on Capon, open the pause menu, and I can’t save. I’m saving games that cannot be saved anymore. Both times I was at about 105 hours, so you can imagine the impending rage building inside of me.
