Update 1.6.1

So I know 1.6 just came out with Hardcore mode and then FtA came out…is FtA 1.6.1 then? It says I’m running 1.6.1 and prior to activating the FtA DLC I seemed to never come across a random encounter…I initiated the DLC by talking to Divish last night and since then I have run into the Wandering Knight (the sissy who thinks he wants to fight but really he doesnt want any, pretty boy) twiceand a Wayfaring Knight all in the same spot at different times…at a crossroads between Inn on the Glade and Neuhoff…
I remember a thread about lack of random encounters and I was having the same issue until last night…maybe it is fixed now?

1.6.1 was a small patch right before FtA.

I’ve had lots of random encounters since 1.5 but now animals I’ve killed aren’t disappearing and causing massive stuttering like on 1.43.

Figure it was something like that, all I know is after 20 hours of gameplay on Hardcore mode, where you can only ride and can’t fast travel, I finally hit random encounters more than just a beggar; and it was 3, relatively quickly (probably within a couple hours for all of them) and in the same spot during my travels back and forth…gonna grind the spot for loot :wink:

so far im in over 60 hours and the only random encounters ive seen are bandits and cumans. they happen on a regular but thats the only ones i come across. i have not seen any of the old cool encounters i use to see and have.

That sucks man. So far I’ve seen villager ambushes, a couple of beggars (for sure one woman beggar), 2 wandering knights (the sissy knight, saw him twice), a wayfaring knight, last night I had a single bandit on my way to Skalitz and then a group of 4 on my way out, I died and reloaded and they weren’t there, and I ran into a very well armored group of bandits who killed me…I’ve also ran past fights between Cumans and Bandits

Xbox One v1.6.1 Hardcore Mode, not sure how many hours but maybe 25-30?

Ye for me too……for example no “thief THIEEEF” event or wandering knights for me since 1.6
(PC, no mods except reshade, 20h playtime)

I had a “thief” event trigger in Sasau with 1.6 (PS4)

I have yet to see a thief in a town now that it was mentioned…experienced about everything else except that, mercenaries (only wandering and wayfaring knights) and riddlers
