Uzhitz whats the deal?

I am on xbox, and since 1.3 I have been unable to play (shudder issue is amazing bad) so I have spent a lot of time exploring by starting over and over again. I have an odd perception about Uzhitz. What is the deal? Why is the blacksmith not a blacksmith, even though there is a forge next to the church? Also why is there no Tanner, yet there is a Tanner right by the river. Talk about some seriously annoying things. Is it such a big deal to make the tanner a tanner, he even has a deer skin on the side of his house like a tanner. Also why have an unmanned forge, with sword stock, etc., yet there is no blacksmith, and no grindstone? Talk about mind numbing pain to see that stuff.

It’s even more annoying that there is no useful merchant in Talmberg at all.

Talmberg at least has the huntsman who has around 600 and buys almost everything. Also the blacksmith helps and the Tanner. If you give money to Voltava he does seem to get more money, very very very very slowly. Granted if you want a pair of shoes in this game, you are Fd, since 99% of the NPC has shoes, but you can only get them in Sasau and Rattay. How the huntsman doesn’t sell hunting boots, but somehow sells hunting gloves, and verbraces is far beyond me. At least on PC you can fix this stuff in seconds though, kind of sad really.

Gave a 1k worth of loot to Voltava in hopes of jump starting his income.:woman_shrugging: nope. non. nein. :man_facepalming:

Another inconsistency is town specific waffenrock and shields in other towns (eg Rattay Lords of Leipa bouche shield sold by Sasau armorsmith; Sasau tailor sells Talmberg waffenrock; Talmberg vendor - Voltana - nope)

Btw, apples are in nearly everyone’s inventory. only apple tree I can confirm having seen is in front of Godwin’s home

It is because the game isn’t finished.

Agreed, I suspect the game is 30%. I read something about 3 acts, and only 2 in the game. Also the traders, most have no names, except some, armorsmith one has a name the other doesn’t. Numerous inconsistences like that. I know they had big plans for women, but they have almost no interactions with you. It goes on and on. Love the game more than any game I have played in a long time. Sad though it takes so long to do these things, and I have waited years for the game, but was not a “backer,” didn’t even know they had backers. Here is looking forward to a bright future for the game.

I love this game and I believe it should have been game of the year. It is a shame what they are doing to this game now.

artisans that don’t sell products or accept commission to create customized products (eg Rattay next to swordsmith) :face_with_raised_eyebrow::expressionless:

patience… if they listen and iron out the inconsistencies, this will be the dog’s bollocks in rpg gaming

I still think it won’t get goty because of all the bad things and press going on with the game.

they ran out of money, its kind of obvious, however I love the idea so much that i can live with it as long as the game doesn’t crash to desktop or you can’t continue due to a bug, apart from that I can wait for them to fix the issues and hopefully release a DLC and make some money t make an even better KCD2

PC people are in much better shape thus us console slobs. PC can just mod out the problems and move on. Even using console commands makes life so much simpler. I played indie games before and always have the same sad response. What amazing potential the game has, mostly because the developers make something unique. Issue is the same, hard to realize potential when development is so expensive.

Mods were the reason I got the witchers and this game on PC after $$$$ upgrading my dead computer ( motherboard and HD’s fail). PC is up to 1.42 already.
Votva I have had no problems with , then again I modded merchants to be very rich to handle my 7k max limit loot hoarding.
BTW what are you supposed to do with 240K Groshen from loot trading and stealing merchants multi K Groshen from their chests?

Great question. Alms, commission works, and jobs/patronage would work for me… need Henry-target NPC mechanic

Also, would like to pay/trade for items in NPC inventory. Henry: Nice waffenrock. I’ll give you this one (same village colors) and 10 groschen.
NPC: that’s not enough
Henry: this waffenrock and 50 groschen, deal?
NPC: deal
Of course, this complex mechanic is only needed if NPC items can’t be bought or commissioned

Very much agreed . be nice to give alms, commission weapons/armor or patronage.

Wait for a Nexusmod that let’s you restore Skalitz to it’s former glory :joy:

edit: And become the next Lord Radzig there. With your own personal smith & illegitimate offspring to boot

On a more serious note: You COULD start up a shiny new armor collection. Specialize in Cuman artifacts. Differentiate collection by organizing all plate & chain mail armor into dirty, bloody, worn, broken, and stolen categories.

Still have an indecent sum of gold? Start your own custom collection of high octane fleet transport. Consisting of the premium HP that the equine sporting class has to offer. Al Buraq is one of the best, assuming you weren’t stupid enough to steal Jenada that is. Just be aware that the latter is definitely one high maintenance sports vehicle. Needs a good wash and polish every day. You too afterwards come to think of it…

Which leads to the next money sink in game. Shopping & grooming. Turning Henry into a dandified metrosexual should now be a piece of cake given all the Tailor, Cobbler & $$$$ bathhouse grooming options now available to him…

Oh yeah…it seems your Henry can apparently afford to entertain his deviant sexual fetishes with each bath house visit. People had a bad habit of disproportionately scoffing at germs while fearing God in those times. So perhaps you should look to have Henry save some coin on doctor visits in future patches as well…

I Have roach and modded super, with barding chain mail and plate head armor.
Troubadour perk for free bath house visits.
25 level armor chest, 20 arm and leg plate,17 level mail legs, warhorse helm, 12 level noble gauntlets. St George’s sword, ceremonial mace , power 80 capon’s bow and one of the 150 defense shields
worn the best noble civvies gear, stolen some.
now rebuilding skalitz…interesting.
had in my possession at one time or other all the types of Cuman gear. ( feared by them perk).
shiny armor collection is just a space taker and can’t display.
not much left of choices.
Still gotta get that bestard markvard & the Hungarian weasel seen in the beginning and in the battles in the game after this one.

Then

1.gift yourself exactly the same amount of gold in septims and

2.Go play Skyrim. Rebuild Helgen or buy some ridiculously overpriced mansion/castle & upgrade that. Or build all

3 HF homes with all upgrades. etc etc. Sky’s the limit for pimpin your Dovahkin/ride/crib/clothes/family/steed etc etc in TES universe. :joy:

There is no way in hell this game can be considered GOTY. Too many problems on all platforms, the idea was excellent but the execution awful. Should have delayed it for a year. On my ps4 vanilla the story was great but too many legitimate game breaking bugs. I quit a month ago but am willing to give it another try. Just waiting for patch.

…Which leaves one to ponder how many gamers will be returning to play what content remains.

Assuming they have the patience to complete playing the game to the closing credits of Act III that is…
