How high lockpicking skill is needed for very difficult locks? Thanks.
I think it’s around 6 to 7. I know easy is “easy” or well easier when you get to 2 then it takes quite a bit to get to hard then very hard. If it follows a trend then you can probably access “hard” around 4 then “very hard” at 6. Hopefully this is the case!
Mmmm…I don’t think so. I am on level 10 and still I cannot even attempt very difficult lock. I still get warning message that the lock is too difficult for me and the picklock brakes immediately.
I’m at 10, too
cant pick very high locks either…
wonder when it will be possible
Mines also 10 however, some very hard locks I can do and others say they’re too difficult. So regardless of the difficulty it displays I don’t think any two chests are the same.
Interesting. Got to try it. I didn’t even try to open them as I got the messag after I reached LVL 10 at first very difficult chest.
Also, you can eat Padfoot potion if your skill are not enough
Hi,
skill lev 15
Sounds about right. I have level 12 lockpicking and still get the message on some Very Hard locks. Mainly on store chests, though i can pick Very Hard locks on doors.
I´ve also seen very hard locks under Level 10, but there are 2
sort of types min.
I’m level 18 lock picking and still hit very hard locks that are near impossible.
But You can try. You dont get the message " The Lock is too difficult !" !?
That’s strange. I have lvl13 lockpicking and I can handle the very difficult locks in Lady Stephanies room (Talmberg Castle) after drinking a Padfoot Potion (+5 to lockpick). Although It may depend on your Lockpick training, which I did at Peshek The Rattay Miller.
