Wait command prompts stuck on screen if using a gamepad

When playing KCD with a controller, after the first time i sleep or wait, the “wait” command prompts get stuck on screen if I use the mouse or the keyboard, and I do need to use K+M frequently (map, inventory, alt+enter to go into window mode and remove the FPS cap so waiting and sleeping don’t take forever, etc).
Is there any way to avoid it changing the prompts to K+M mode when I use the keyboard or the mouse? I suspect that would fix my issue.
Or is there any way for the wait command prompts to not appear at all (I already know how the “+1 hour, -1 hour, accept, cancel” commands…)?
Any other ideas?
I’ve been enjoying this game a lot, by the way (enough for me to face all the issues it still has).

I have the same bug and it is really annoying during the quest in the kloister, because the time lapse prompt blocks all other interactions.

Has only started with 1.5, yes?

My household has had two instances so far; fortunately forum solution allowed me to guide partner through it…
(Bring up wait screen again and cancel…)

Having the same problems myself when I have more than one input device (K+M and Steam Controller) I have tried what Whitedragem has suggested but the moment I hover over a new interaction like a person or object they return, does having only one input device fix this issue?

P.S do the devs look at this forum and attempt patches or is this just a community thing?

Many Warhorse-ers will read through here…
Like any business/workers; official work structure makes things happen.
Properly reported bugs using proper registration (eg email) ensures that known bugs get added to the ‘to do’ list…

Whilst it is nice, possibly ‘wishful thinking’, that bug lists are built from forum duscussion- it would likley lead to lists compiled of outdated bugs (already fixed) and too many double ups (slight differences in problem descriptions).

My .02$ is the team have so consistently strived to fix everything- patches and hotfixes generally address issues very quickly.

Suppose it depends on our personal experiences with studios vs expected experience.

My expectation is issues should be resolved within three months, my experience with WH, it is generally three weeks…

Not all launch issues dealt with yet/seems like multiple teams are working (eg new content/re-adding dropped content/examining issues and fixes all happening simultaneously).

This game had a tumultuous launch.
Now they have a handle on things we can really see what is going on…
I rate them as one of the best software houses I have seen in action.
Their biggest weakness so far has been to do with communication with the general public; and that was whilst they had a ‘deliver actions/not words’ phase.

I would be surprised if this issue lingered past 1.6, and wouldnt put it past WH to do a hotfix (pc) if this issue was widespread/largescale.
