I have done the “walk with Theresa” bit, but on final cut scene the screen goes black and gets stuck meaning I have to reboot and forget about doing the mission
what a shame!

This is the infinite loading screen bug of this quest.
Had the same experience yesterday. In the final scene of this walk you have to talk to her at the river, but then the same dialogue starts again at Pesheks house. I replied (again) and got the endless loading/saving whatever black screen …
so I repeated the scene but didn’t reply when the dialogue started again at Pesheks house and just went away. This solved it. No problems with saving and going on in the game anymore.
you have to delete any save in relation to this quest, then avoid doing it until its fixed.

Solution (for me):
BEFORE sitting down, let the game go through and check your quest log, it’ll take about 30 secs. once you stop receiving log updates on the screen then sit with her.

I have the same bug, I already tryed waiting for quest log to check objectives, carefuly running beside her, letting her win… nothing works for me, allways end up with stuck loading screen.
Hello! For me it works so: I am run first, wait her at place where Teresa sit down near the river. All log boxes is done then I come to her and begin to talk.
