I play KC:D on PS4 (and I might be one of the only people who actually enjoys the current lock picking system) and pre-ordered the game via the PS Store.
As a reward, I was given the “Ancient Maps” which lead you to the 5 locations of the official “Warhorse Armor”. A few minutes ago, I finally was able to open the fifth (and last) one of these chests to retrieve the one piece of armor I have been truly waiting to wear…the “Warhorse Brigandine”. I immediately went to put it on and…
It isn’t actually there.
It is in my inventory, I do have it equipped, its stats are applied…but the character model just shows a giant, plain, blue cylindrical prism, NOT a rendered piece of awesome armor.
To throw salt into the wound, the “Warhorse Gauntlets” don’t even appear at all, just showing my bear hands!
This game has quickly become my favorite game of all time, a place of honor which has been occupied by both Red Dead Revolver and Ace Combat V: The Unsung War ever since the early 2000’s, but this bug is ridiculous. These are not only supposed to be early game rewards for those who put faith in you enough to pre-order the game, but these are also supposed to be your signature pieces bearing your glorious name!
I have had this game shutdown on me during fast travels, after cut-scenes, while loading an area, while trying to save, while trying to load, and while in mid-conversation.
I take it all with a “oh man!” and then a jolly laugh.
…but this?
I am angry with this. There is no jolly laugh or light-hearted “oh man!”.
There is just anger and irritation and frustration and the need to drink heavily.
All other bugs, glitches, and issues should be of secondary concern.
Please, for my sanity, FIX THIS ARMOR QUICKLY.
