What can I say…I like the game. I feel for xbox players. I doubt that system will get games like this in the future. But the game I’m playing dosen’t deserve half of the $#!# its getting.
I love the game too and really want it to succeed but it’s hard to support it after not being able to play for over a month because of how broken it is
Honestly, to bring out a game bugged like this is bad enough. Still, they would get not this much of a shitload over them if they where honest about it at launch (bet most of us still would of bought it, but then we knew where we would get into).
Second, after the release and all hell broke lose in media, they kept silence. Even on their own forums, they keep silence (I mean, that pedantic Tobi was all over the place being the popular kid before release, where is the sod now?). If you have any idea of running a business, you would know this is the worst thing to do. As far as I know, they don’t even read their own forums. I say, f*ck them then.
I’ll tell you what Carlos. Make a thread for Xbox one consols and I’ll stay out of it.
This truly is a once in a lifetime title which makes the garbage state it’s in really disappointing
I think the documentary was there response. You should watch it. They admitted to a lot.
Any chance you could post the link?
What a load of horseshit.
In some thread someone (maybe you, I don’t keep track with digital people I meet…) already mentioned this to me.
But, I noticed the documentary is after release and beside the doc, I notice nothing. So, can’t help but keep with my very first assumption; the management at Warhorse sucks. If it are the owners, than again they still need to admit they suck at that part and hire some management that knows what to do. Cost them money, but will be worth it (telling this being a projectmanager myself, not in games though, but basics are the same).
I was just addressing this part of your post. I think it was me that suggested it in another thread. I guess complaining is funner than seeking answers.
Sucks or not is a value judgment. One I don’t think appropriate for me to make. That said, I think management decided to make the game they wanted to make (that line is in documentary or elsewhere).
It’s understandable, but it wasn’t the most economically rational or financially responsible decision. They have to deal with the consequences of it now… hope they’ve recalibrated
Complaining surely is easier than seeking answers, I give you that.
Don’t get me wrong. Wish them still the best, since I believe they really want to make a great game. They can not know all the aspects of running a business and therefor I also wished they would get some people in to help them with the parts they don’t understand (so they can focus on making this game right).
BULLSHIT, i’m sorry but why is it the customers job to wait for them to FIX their game through patches when the game is released. People used their money on a product they thought was done. Why do customers need to wait, this is not a god damn fucking pre ordered product that you wait for, it’s released and out. So tell me why do people need to keep waiting for them, to fix this sorry excuse of a finished game when it should be done the fucking second they decided to release it
not going to defend WH’s decision to release KCD . that was their business decision. they own it, and the attendant blow back from the bugginess.
that said, the notion that a game should be free of game-breaking or game-altering bugs at go live is a laudable but not realistic perspective. WH isn’t unique is this regard.
If you think this is the first game to release with bugs then you’ve been asleep for the last ten years. If you are concerned about such things I would advise you to not buy a game the first day it comes out. If you do make that gamble as I did then I would ask that you take responsibility for your own actions and grow up ffs.
I feel like the release could have gone alot smoother if they released it in early access
I don’t mind your opinion being different from my own, and you can ask whatever you want. Frankly, I see people like you as part of the problem. As far as growing up, I’m a bit long in the tooth already. And I am taking responsibility for my actions. I’ll keep responding to those with at least a semblance of reason.
Also, directing me to take responsibility for purchasing a product because I’m calling out WarHorse’s business practices in a light you don’t agree with is a laught riot. Grow up. In the real world we vote with our wallets, not our bleeding hearts.
