@Warhorse: I'm Putting down the pitchfork

It does suck. I’d be same as you spent more time dicking about in the woods killing things. Shit one of my first achievements was serial killer.

I’m still playing the main quest. No idea if I’m near end or what.

I have gotten around 90 hours playing around in the game And have enjoyed it for the most part. Maybe I’m less frustrated slightly because I stayed away from the main quests, I accidently avoided a lot of shitty bugs.

The latest patch looks very favourable on pc. That is the one PS4 is getting next. ( I have regrets not getting pc version was gifted to me on PS4). So hopefully you can get a smoother play through. if you are arsed doing so.

It’s kinda like this: They done FxxxED it up!
Now they are trying their hardest to fix it😆

I have been gaming since the atari console, in my case I know the difference between a game breaking bug ( at least 6-9) in KCD and the quests where I haven’t achieved the correct procedure to complete them. THE BUGS ON MY PS4 WERE NUMEROUS AND GAME BREAKING.

My dear fellow,

I’ve developed carpal tunnel from the extensive dissertations I’ve authored upon this very subject all over these forums. Displaced anger raging against WHS. When the truth is I should be directing my angst towards myself. For allowing myself to be fooled into beta testing their Early Access game for free. AND paying them a $60 bonus to do it. :joy:

I’m not the only PC gamer who excelled in self humiliation in committing this brainfart to date. Check Steam gamer trends for proof. To date, self flagellating PCMR gamers have promoted KCD to #86 at the bottom of the list:

That being said, your attempt to troll me is the paradigm of #EpicFail

And yes. You need yoga

WH sent out tweets indicating the cert process for 1.4.3 on PS4 and XB has begun. The beatings will continue until morale improves

“and any entity financially backing WarHorse Studio’s” guess that means me, your complaints have been noted, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I too have been gaming (on and off) since the Atari console. But my PS4 bugs have been minor and not in any way “GAME BREAKING”. Why is that? 200+ hours played, going into the Night Raid at Talmberg tonight, so I must be close to finishing the MQ. I couldn’t be happier with this game. As I posted previously, I must just be the luckiest A-hole in the world of gaming. Hey Warhorse - I’ll send you another check for $60.o0. Just give me an address…

I’m glad you got to enjoy it. Pity I never will judging by their inability to fix the ffing game.

Time will tell. Took me over 2 years (Nov 2015-Feb 2018) patience for Bethesda to patch PS4 version of Fallout 4 to point where I could walk between Cambridge and Bunker Hill without freezing or crashing the system

Hmmmmm. Well I’d agree not to disagree with you…if only I haven’t been driving myself toward an apoplectic seizure playing Sisyphus. In complete futility of trying to run this game on a $13k, state of the art computer system.

It also doesn’t seem that 2% of my fellow PC gamers who bothered to leave a Steam review --who you so scorn-- agree with you either…

All Hail the Ides of March!

Oh and btw: here are some concrete statistics on the PC side:

1.Steam PC gamers made up 60% of the 500,000 copies sold in the 1st 48 hours of release in Feb. That’s a record 300,000 digital game copies sold in the 1st two days of KCD release. And yet

2.By this very same PC player base: the game has since tanked in rank to 86/100 in gamer interest & playing trends on Steam . ** As of today, the peak number of PC gamers has fallen to 5,958

3.Which implies the following: of the original 300,000 dedicated PC Steam gamers who bought the game in the 1st 2 days in Feb,the maximum number of gamers still playing KCD to date is now 5,958/300,000 = 1.986% – aka 2% – of the original PC gamer population since release in Feb…

Of course, this speculation is exclusive of any other digital/online release sources like GOG etc. and traditional retail hard copy sources. So a liberal margin of error should be considered when contemplating this degree of pessimistic outlook for the game’s future.

See my scandalous speculation of this statistic above. ^^

Still incredulous? Know that you may need to seek it from an unconventional place where it was apparently extracted (and where I cannot follow you) i.e.the Gluteus Maximums… :joy:

Easter eggs evidently didn’t go down well

Game plays great on the XboneX, get the stutter screen thing once in a while since the Runt showdown. But it goes away. Haven’t seen most of the bugs I see people talking about on here. Hopefully this next patch polishes it all up.

With that being said, I would not want to play it on Xbone or XboneS I think. This is one of only two games that makes the cooling fans audible. (ESO is the other) I don’t think the hardware on the other two systems would handle it well.

I didn’t have money for a Atari😢 I had to play a Odyssey 2. My first PC was a tandy apple I had to hook to my black and white TV and spend hours typing in dos promps to play a stupid Russian roulette game lol. Man I’m old😢

Oh and if the power went out you would loss everything you entered; Because you had no way of saving . Man that really sucked👎

Those were my Heman and GI Joe days lol… Oh memories :slightly_smiling_face:

Apparently applying the melted chocolate from the Easter eggs to ones face in an attempt to make a beard and show it off at the bathhouse caused the game to crash…

I have a Xbone X and yeah it is pretty bad right now. When I first played the game I thought my Xbox was going to take off with how fast the fans were spinning.

1.3.1 fixed the crashing and the fan noise but brought the stutter problems. I really do hope these patches can fix it🙂

so, either this escaped cert (not sure why if fan rage is typical KCD XB behaviour) or cert doesn’t look for this kind of thing (not sure why noisy as hell and overheating threat isn’t a concern of MS as both will lead to customer dissatisfaction, etc)

I think this also bricked some systems. It was that bad.

I keep my Xbox in a very open place and I’m kinda OCD when it comes to dust so it was not my fault.

Excessive fan noise is par for the coarse with Microsoft consoles.

No my system is very quite most of the time. Way quieter than any other system.

And trust me, I am NOT a fanboy.

Way quieter than no noise coming out of the ps4? I bloody doubt it.
