Will be there a possibility to turn the dog off? Or at least leave it in a forest and hope it will never show back at my place?

My guess is you will have care for it.
So solution to your problem is not to feed it.
IDK about an on/off selection but it wouldn’t make sense to be forced to have the dog, I am sure there may be ways to decline.
