Are wayfarers and random encounters now really rare? I restarted a new game on PS4 Pro after the patch that fixed lock picking patch. I have gotten 2 wayfarers (one knight and one guy selling maps). I still get attacked on the road, but no wayfarers.
PS4 player here. Don’t worry, it’s all fine. I’ve got just a few wayfarers too since I’ve started a new playline. I get a lot of hold ups and attacks, but no so many wayfarers.
PC player here. Wayfarers are there. Maybe they were more frequent before (could be a placebo effect) but I like actual randomness/frequency. I met wide variety of them like selling treasure maps,mercenaries challenging me to duel,some beggar woman with heartbreaking story,this funny faint-hearted knight and some others I really dont remember what they were up to

Why is that knight always saying that he beat me last time we met if in fact I kicked his ass every single time?
He is generaly confused about the world his mother sent him to experience. Last time I won his sword in duel. It was not my intention. I somehow quickly clicked thru dialog menu. Frankly I felt sorry for him and I wanted to give the sword back. Unfortunatelly there is no such possibility.
I choked him out and took all of his stuff.

Now when I think of it. Can you meet faint-hearted knight more then once? In my first playtime I talked him out of duel,sending him chasing skirts and enjoy the life. After that I dont think I ever met him again. Which make sense to me.
