Here is why I think we should get at least an option to save our save files into cloud, preferably automatically through Steam.
Right now the save files can get lost / corrupted pretty easily with no way of recovering them. Would not it be nice to have them backed up somewhere just in case?
This game IS supported by GeForce NOW. To those who have no idea what that means - “cloud computing / gaming” – you play the game on your computer, but in reality you are using power from remote server.
On the game box it does say that this game NEEDS an internet connection to function.
I would love to play on my laptop that is by no means capable of playing the game at all. I’m a student that uses a laptop for school during weekdays and gets home for weekends where my desktop is. Even if I had another desktop where I’m studying, the process of manually moving the files is just not good enough for 2018. And yes, while I can technically make my ways around that (syslink to cloud storage folder), I should not have to resort to this.
And to everyone saying that cloud gaming in general is not realisable “yet”… I tried playing the division using formerly mentioned GeForce NOW, on the remote PC it ran at 1080p on pretty much maxed settings with stable 80+ fps while delivering 1080p 60fps gameplay to me with close to not recognisable input lag. Seriously it was pretty flawless for me.
Is there ANY info about steam cloud being implemented into KC:D? What are your thoughts?
