So i just watched all of the videos and liked how the amount of detail in the game; especially how the weapons will slide off the armor instead of just bouncing back or just going straight through like other games. So my question is, will the same kind of interaction be seen in other areas? For example,I need a X amount of room to swing a sword. If i am in a doorway, will my the swinging of my sword be impeded by the doorway or will it phase through it? If i strike a tree, with the swing of the sword stop on contact with the tree or slice through it like other games? Get it?
it will slide off wall and reduce its impact when it lands on the opponent
Yep, Dan used exactly same example about doorway to describe how their collision system works. Your sword swing will be stoped by any obstacle.

That will definitely introduce a measure of strategy to combat. Positioning yourself to where you can swing clearly but your opponent can’t will create a huge advantage, as well as using the terrain if you’re attacked by multiple opponents (IE, put Mook A in front of Mook B so you can deal with Mook A first, or doorways to prevent yourself from being outflanked, etc).
