I went into the castle garden at Rattay to talk with Lord Hanush about a quest and when he and the guard left the door locked behind them. It just so happens that it’s a very hard lock which the game considers to be too difficult and therefore I can not pick it, I can’t even fast travel…
Edit: Turns out the game doesn’t consider it too difficult for me to pick, but even so If I was bad at lock picking, had no lockpicks, wasn’t a high enough level, or whatever else I would be stuck.
I was locked in the garden too, but fortunatley I had already made some progress in lockpicking and could escape from that deadly trap. Maybe the guards are patrolling the castle’s garden again when the sun climbs up the sky.
Wait for them to open the door, or reload a previous save I would say.
Same thing happened to me. I just jumped over the side. Almost killed me. Would have if I didn’t have the perk that lets you regain a little life if you drop down to zero.
The door became one of those doors that you just can’t walk through. Happens at one of the stables and the tailor in sasau occasionally too.
U think u have problems
Dear developers your game is a fkn mess so I bought this game as I had high hopes an was really excited to play a game set in the middle ages
With realistic combat and engaging story and character development which u have delivered on
But why the fk would u even think of releaseing the game in such a buggy mess
To start with during the first few hours I was asked to remove my boots before retireing to bed and as a matter of roll playing I did as requested to wake up an find that all my clothing had disappeared so spent the next few hours running around talmburg in my underwear
Eventually being kicked out for knocking out a guard
The game continued an a few glitches an bugs an quests failing were present but didn’t hamper my enjoyment of the game
Such as people with no heads legs or unable to remember thair dialogue
I then met a priest Godwin who didn’t like me washing my face after getting drunk with him the night before an rideing the local wench so again the quest failed
So I continued on my way an got locked in a few invisible walls am sure this game said that it didn’t include any magic an went back to talmburg to copulate with the dutchess however when I arrived the security at the gate just ignored me and wouldn’t let me re-enter the castle keep My opinion he needs sacking
So I desided to try an re-enter the castle by rideing my horse over the open draw bridge which eventually worked I think that this glitch needs sorting out as it’s immersion breaking
After being rejuvenated I set of again on my quest of redemption an was part way through the monastery and had adered to all thair rules and regulations whilst I was in the house of God and then went to bed some how whilst I had been asleep I had time traveled back to Rattay to the mill what was this I thought to my self the forbidden teaching of the occult no just another fkn bug an now as a result of this meddling I am unable to progress further into the lands of bohemia
Please I have played games for over 30 years an have never experienced such a wonderful but hsitnuc game I payed hard earned cash an expected this game to at least function please if u have a heart could u fix this game so I can complete Hennrys journey xxx
Oh sir cunny why do u do that to me so im about to start the major battle of the entire game an I fail the quest due to a number of reasons
This includes not being able to fast travel fast anuff because im fannying around trying to buy anuff gear to survive the oncomeing slaughter
When arriveing at talmburg yet again that fkn security guard fails to let me enter the castle tosser so again for inmmersion sake I have to jump on to the drawbridge to enter the castle and again the quest fails due to not arriving on time yay
Done the horse race. I arrive back although I completed the race 3 times (twice 2nd once first). Had to reload the save because of the hunterman quest bug. 4th time I arrive back first to the gate to finish the race. And thr game fails to acknowledge my arrival. After all the riders return I was able to talk to Sir Divish. He says well we were going to send a searching party for you. Now Zora is pissed had to reload the save again. I advise focusing on one quest at a time rather than having various quests with different tasks at the same time which would be more time consuming.

I had a similar experience going into the Bailiffs quarters the top of the Rathaus. A guard heard my lockpick snap from down the street (He was probably right below me) and came upstairs into the back bedrooms. He closed the door and asked me to leave as I was trespassing on private property.
Cool, no problem. I get to the door and it’s a very hard lock…
Thanks guard. So I tried to pick it because I couldn’t do anything else, and promptly got myself arrested to get past the locked door.
I truly enjoy this game, even when it derails and bursts into flames.
