Congratulations to you guys that don’t seem to have problems or they’re manageable goody for you, how ever I hope next game that comes out that you buy you are riddled beyond riddled with bugs so then you can know how people that are unfortunately having problems with this game were talking about.
i read you whole post I understand lock picking is different on pc but its not impossible on console it only hard at the begging once you get used to it, it will be very easy as far as i know very hard lock on PC are impossible if your locking in game level is 1. yes i agree they are different but that doesn’t make console version hard you just have to get used to it mouse and keyboard are always easier to use like its the same case for shooter games if a person has mouse and key board fights against a guy with controllers he will destroy him. but you dont have to worry of my opinion cuz there are 1000 of players who agree with you
Im not saying its hard tho after knowing what to look for on the PC I don’t move at all when I lock pick however on the PS4 for whatever reason I’m on the other side of the chest or door that I’m trying to open I should not be moving when im lock picking I don’t know if that is what’s causing my issues or not
and btw i play on normal ps4 i have encountered 2 bugs so far one lead to fail a side quest other corrupted my save file after i had my 1rst crash in 25h, i wasnt even mad i started a new game and so far 10h no bugs and i back up my save file just in case
That’s why I said as an update originally I thought it really was just me however after playing the game on PC I have no issues with combat no issues with progressing or anything it is a perfect wonderful game however the game has only been out what 3 days and I bought it on PS4 am I sure they will fix it YES AS OF RIGHT NOW HOW EVER my experience with my purchased game SUCKS.
Primarily because on my friends PC the games awesome and I’m sure they will patch and patch and patch the ps4 game but if you read thier last twitter and twitch statement it’s going to take 2 weeks

Overreacting much ? It’s the best game I’ve played since witcher 3. In fact i came here to thank the guys for working hard and making a great game. Also if you expect an open world RPG of this size to come out bug free, I have a bridge to sell you .

There is a difference in being frustrated with actual bugged gameplay and complaining that a feature is too difficult. Someone on another thread has already found that the lockpicking isn’t even designed right for console to begin with, and that there are actual errors in it for the console controls. Does this mean it is not doable, or completely broken? No. People like you are claiming it works - but the big issue here is that not all games function the same, and neither do they operate the same when crossing platforms (From PC to PS4, from PS4 to Xbox) I will say that he should better express his frustrations instead of titling a thread with a very /rude/ opening. It honestly shows immaturity and a lack of composure. Regardless, don’t sink to the levels of writing it off as ‘whining’ as everyone here who is playing - paid sixty dollars. Even if it WAS his choice to purchase the game, sixty dollars is typically the top bracket for games. To just reinforce the point on lockpicking, the developers have even addressed this as an issue so it’s not a learn to play issue. Coding can break differently - and not everyone gets ‘the same experience’.

Just to clarify, you’re not ‘hearing’ anyone. You’re reading a forum you openly go to, and read on your own. No one forces you to come on the forums, no one makes you read peoples threads, and no one definitely forces you to respond to them. Nothing is wrong with people - It’s just frustration expressed in a poor manner. Honestly, if anyone is ‘crying’ it would be you. You’re complaining ABOUT someone complaining. How is that even in the slightest helpful? Also, please take the time to actually TYPE your sentences out man. No one wants to take you even in the slightest serious when everything is so broken and is one long run on sentence.

Good for you. We’re all glad you think it is the best game ever, and I don’t think anyone ‘expected’ the game to release bug free. Those who do are downright ignorant to know that companies release their games ‘finished and prime’ now-a-days. Briefly read my responses to others to understand that it’s just frustration being expressed poorly.

You honestly just need to take a break, and do something else to occupy yourself. Sputtering onto the forums about your issues over and over is only luring in people to troll you, and lower themselves down to the level of ‘composure’ you’re holding. Everyone here is clear on the fact that you’re frustrated, and that you are unhappy with your purchase. But making a thread where you outright say ‘Never buy another game from this company ever’ - Of course people who like the idea, but also realize that bugs were going to be a thing, are going to come in and downright tell you to ‘stop whining’ and ‘stop complaining’. If you want to contribute to help the developers, and your self, instead of writing your complains out in short bursts of saying people can’t read and that ‘we don’t understand’ - focus on your issue and report details of what happened, when it happened, possibly how it happened, etc. Take notes on your issues, and then send them in to the support bug tracking e-mail address - and wait. Otherwise, as I mentioned earlier, take a break and just wait or get your refund (If you can) and go. Because you’re not helping anyone, and you’re definitely not helping yourself right now.

In general the game is great. They had the balls to do something not that mainstream and that is why so many players complain.

Honestly, I think this looks more or less like the boards of any newly released game. One big differenc though is the way the forums are made that let’s all threads sit in the same place which makes it look like there’s only complaints and nothing else.
It’s the same for all forums, people don’t read previous threads instead they just create new threads on the same topics so we have 20+ threads about how lockpicking sucks, 20+ threads about how bad the saving system is and so on.
I think the big difference is that most poeple seem to have seen the game trailers, thought this is a cool game and bought it without knowing really what they bought and then they get disappointed when they discover that after 15 hours of game play they are not the arch mage of Skyrim, the all so powerful Geralt of Rivia or the Lone Wanderer whit his maxed out sniper rifle. And to boot, the game is set to “Survival mode” from start with the only difference that you don’t die from radiation.
I honetly don’t understand the complaints about game saves since the game saves all the time while doing quests, I have 15 hours of game time so far and not used one single saviour schnaps. Maybe that will come further down along the road but so far no Saviour Schnaps.

Maybe you should save the money you threw into a ps4 pro and just put that towards a computer, this game runs on potatoe computers considering the ps4 pros hardware is one as well minus a good m /kb.

best game since witcher 3? this is the best game ive played in my entire live they say its about 50h i can easily see my self playing more than 500h so far i puted 30h in the game
I really think that this game should have been a pc exclusive. Trying to get it to run on consoles has been too much of a stretch for a new developer. This is a really good game but unfortuately not many players have hardware up to the task. Kcd is shaping up to be the new crysis.
i dont agree am on normal ps4 so and am enjoying my self its just not as bad as it sound if you play it it actually pretty good
Cannot disagree more. Playing on Xbox One X and even with some wired glitches and nasty bugs I LOVE THIS GAME since more than 20hrs.
But I’m very sorry to all the folks without the luck of a relatively crashfree gameexpeerience! For sure, no better lockpicking, savings, archery, graphics or whatever is important - JUST. BUG. FIXING. But for me it’s, at least, my game of the year.

It’s frustrating to not be able to play something you have been looking forward to for so long, but be patient, the game is more than worth it. Just wait for them to patch the lockpicking, which will no doubt be the first thing they fix over the next few days.
