I think the game rocks and is far less buggy then Skyrim was at it’s release. In skyrim on day one I bumped into a skull laying on the ground in the tutorial cave and it killed my character and there were tones of game breaking quest bugs in the main quest line. This is a very advanced game with lots of moving parts and possibilities. It is not perfect BUT it is a gem of a game and as the patches come out it will only get better imo.
… and 73% rating on Steam.
… and a RockPaperScissors review that has a huge image about a bug in it.
… and the game was postponed for more than 2 years despite having earned 3x the Kickastarter amount ($1m vs $300k)
All this could have been avoided if (since you mentioned “2 days”) postponing the final release by 2 weeks. If they couldn’t use the extra cash injection for 3 years, something’s seriously wrong.
The game sure could have benefitted from a bit more polish, but hey.
All I know is that it works for me, I’ve been an “open-world” player for… idk, over a decade, playing games from Bethesda games to Rockstar’s ones. I guess I’ve just grown used to buggy releases at this point. This really is nothing we haven’t seen before, and at least this time they are working on patching it, and they are reacting pretty quickly to do it too. Be patient, don’t know what more to say.
When I see a massively-hyped game like Fallout 4 getting sh*t on by everyone after release, I get that, but here it’s a new studio ( the first Czech one I hear about too IIRC ), and a small one compared to the giants of the industry, it seems to me they are doing their best.
Every new open-world release you see the same debates, and quite frankly, while I’ve grown used to them, OP writing “I’ll never buy a WH game again” like a frustrated child is just seriously overreacting.
I’ve seen console players say the lockpicking is easy as well. What you seem to have forgotten by playing easy games too much is that games are supposed to start off difficult and then become easier as it goes along. You haven’t even noticed there’s a very easy chest in Pesheks mill… You came to slander the game because you’re a bad player, so instead of wanting to improve you talk shit. Real classy
I have to just laugh high and raw about this whining. of course it is bugged. it is not an aaa-game by Bioware, but a equally sized game made by a thousand times smaller team.
NOBODY force you to buy this game from day 1. If you wanna play from start, then be ready for bugs as in ALL major rpgs today. Its actually so big, that if they were to make it perfect from start it wouldnt be here for another two years. And then you whining disapointed fanboys would whine about that instead.
Its an great game, while it does require some polishing, it can easily dance with the giants of the genre like witcher , fallout or TES etc. Skyrim was a buggy piece of mess, and still fkn is. Swords stuck in walls, ppl going through walls, bugs within crimesystem, and witnesses etc.
I got a monster computer, xbox one, ps4pro, nintendo switch etc. I play it at the PC dough, and while the FPS juuust like in witcher, drops to very low amounts considering that its double in lesser crowded areas, I had like 1 crasch, and thats for being stupid enough to try to write “save” command in console.
If u got the hardware, this game works just fine.
If you run first generation I7 and an 960 and excpect to play 60 fps 4k ultra high, well pinch yourself and wake the f’ck up. I hate cheap people complaining about minor bugs. These major bugs aint gameruining for most ppl, and ALL games have gameruining bugs that are very rare, but sure as fuck do they occur anyways.
Enjoy the game or wait the fuck out for it to be patched. Dont fkn whine over day 1 editions nowadays.
Well there’s your problem… PS4 this was made for PC in my opinion
look like it
