What a mess

How about you just release a game that isn’t janky and buggy? So is the day of online gaming. We can just release the game in the broken state it is, and just patch it later. No big deal. People keep saying to support companies like yours. Ha. You will get my support when you show me a game that is finished. Until then, people shouldn’t have given you a dime.

Oh, look. Another redundant topic by someone who just made his account.

Devs are very likely not the only ones having a say in the release date.

Sure, the game came ou half-baked. Sucks. But as the Dev is a new company, I will wait and see, how they carry on, if they fix the pressing issues, and if they learn from it.

If they deal with the issues at hand and fix them, and if they do better enxt time, all is well. If they don’t, they have lost the good will.

I’m not about to be a holier-thn-thou Nassbirne who’d emediately schedule a public execution after the first mis-step.

So now im unable to fight, i swing but never connect. Sword goes straight through. Punch also goes through face. Yes i tried to restart game, also hard restart xbox, didnt help. I got ass kicked by the guy that wanted to dance with Thresa. Going to delete from xbox wait about a year see it in libary and say “I wonder if it is fix?” Download start and guess what same old things messed up with gam. I’ll file along with all ea/bioware and Bethesda games i bought.

Don’t care how long you have been here. If I have something to say about this shoddy game, I will.

Knock yourself out. Others, myself included, will be sure to correct you when your internet anger is misplaced.

So far, you’re acting like this is the only game that ever had bugs upon release. You have shown no understanding of release deadlines, games going gold, work still being done after that, updates being made once it’s released, etc.

You just want to rage.

Doubtful that you will do anything. Ain’t nothing “misplaced” except for your defense of a company doing what companies do nowadays. Keep up the good fight of supporting janky devs. I will speak with my wallet, and give them their just desserts when they earn it. Later, cupcake.

Aww, a cute little insult. Way to go!

Are you actually trying to get me to call you names in return, or just sharing what you’ve had for dinner?

Whatever you want to interpret it as there, lanky shaft.

Cool I will too, then. Good thing about opinions, like asshats, some taste better… (cheers Jim Jeffries)

This game has revealed no bugs to me… and I can count on one hand how many graphical oddities I have seen. It is withoit doubt the best roleplaying game I have seen made in decades (and this is my preferred genre and I game across all platforms).

Sure we are no longer in the days of 2 megabyte cartridge days. (4k if we go back to atari 2600).
It isgetting harder to make a perfect polished gem an artist can sell ‘in their lifetime’… so fortunately patches exist and we can get the games in a timely manner to make use of our rigs etc.

We dont know the lockdowns the industry puts on multiplatform release (it is only when xbox vastly underperformed and wasnt selling that microsoft finally eased up on the rules of multiplatform releases making a public announcement 'if you cant ship at the same time on our platform come talk to us (we might still allow you to ship on our platform).

The publishes sort out that side of things, I imagine, so they work to very specific deadlines on multiplatform releases.

The devs of THIS PRODUCT are proving to be some of the most commited and best serving people in the industry.

Your whinging doesnt change that; it just changes the tone for the public who come here interested to learn more.

The fact they let you troll all over their webforums is proof of their generosity and patience.
Or maybe you are the unchecked bug.
Now I am keen for a patch

I take this stance preemptively because until you show otherwise I understand the type of banter my fuel on your flames has a tendency to provoke…

I think if the two of us could see a common middle ground; I would agree- many are suffering from game breaking bugs (‘many’, not ‘most’), the product is a work of love and a great addition to top tier RPGs that have a real world bent.
Hopefully when you reload it months from now proof of the pudding, being in the eating, will show why this game bests even almighty bethesda at their own game (who are happy not fixing bugs, leaving for the community to patch, and are happy on shipment of a game, to move onto paid for expansions).

If you enjoy gaming why are you here?
To stop others from enjoying gaming- oh no to ‘warn them’. Try doing so constructively with a modicum of understanding about open world rpg game releases.

I couldnt even load Skyrim on the midnight launch. I had my disc a day early, but had tobwait for steam to authorise. Had to day one patch it and driver update for it, and still couldn’t get past the start screen due to an undiagnosed game error that made it past testing.

So, in perspective- where is the beef?

I have an idea you make a game, and better one too. I’d love to play it. Instead of you crying :yum:

Just another one. There are enough open topics…
