They run down the NPCs neck but don’t sit on the skin
I think they are a glitch with clothing. I always notice it if an npc is wearing their pajamas. Maybe it’s a part of their regular clothes?
They weren’t there until today
Buttons. Mysterious floating buttons.
My guess is that the character wore, at some point, an outer garment that they are no longer wearing (perhaps because they were sleeping or something) and the buttons just stuck around.
Buttons surgically attached into their skin so that they can wear anything and take em off quickly without having to worry about the buttons falling off
