So here’s my configuration, I would like to know, based on your experience testing the beta, if I can expect playing this game with ultra settings?
GPU: Asus Astrix GTX970 (4GB)
CPU: Intel core i5 4690k 3.5GhZ / 3.9GhZ
RAM: 8GB for now but I’m upgrading to 16 before the end of this month
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO3

You should be ok on highest preset. Just don’t expect much above 40fps since the alpha was not optimized yet. Beta will come in a few months and performance will keep changing till summer release.

Do you think that when the game will be stable my config will allow me to have higher FPS?
When the game is stable I expect to have 60 or near 60 fps with lower specs.
I would be definitely surprised if you had less than me

I have very similar PC also with gtx970 and I am running games on max. It’s a really good choice. But in my understanding its hard to get stable 60 fps in KCD alpha no matter what beast you have because of no optimization?
I wasn’t sure if I wanted a GTX970 or a R9 390 but I ended buying the GTX considering that 5 more FPS didn’t worth 60€. The GTX980 is just way too expensive.
