What does the countdown timer say for you

So whatever genius created the countdown timer you see at https://www.kingdomcomerpg.com decided it would be a brilliant idea to use whatever local time the client has and have it release at exactly 12pm on the 13th. For everyone. 17 hours left guys. If my timer is to be believed lol. I mean they literally did the timer the hard way too.

Dunno if this bodes well for the state of the game.

It would be nice if the timer was fixed. To countdown to the actual release time. Turns out I’ll probably be getting the damn game on the 14th…

Mine says 1 day and 5 hours right now. Which means 29 hours.

That is rather weird. I do not think that the game releases at different times in different countries, so I assume some web programmer messed up and asked for a local time instead of universal time maybe?

Steam just says Feb 13th

Not such an uncommon mistake. Especially since the entire development team in in the same timezone and people probably didn’t have any reason to compare timer with people from other countries before now. Hopefully someone will fix it when they get to office in a few hours.

Yeah I’ve seen this mistake before. Tripwire Interactive with rising storm 2. Same mistake.
