R9 290 and here’s hoping that will be sufficient!
gtx 680 lightning in surround 3x24
I don’t know yet which GPU I will use in 2015 or 2016…
true keep forgetting that we are a way out and how things can change. So far though nothing has really limited my playability. Even star citizen when launched was ok. Temps went high but that was it.
who knows we may all be in vr suits and goggles!
R9 290x! Idk if I’ll be keeping that all the way until 2016 though lol
Possibly the same you are using now if DirectX 12 works its way into games fast enough.
I highly doubt that I will use the same card. It’s not even fast enough to display current games at ultra-high settings…
Next week my Palit GTX780 Super Jetstream will arrive, so most likely this one. But who knows, maybe in 2015/16 there will be more than one
my gtx 680 2gb will be fine. people always do this when a new game comes out then it runs fine on hardware from 2 years ago.
unless you want anti aliasing 16x, no game is going to tax recent cards.
Well, that depends on your own expectations in respect to resolution, persistence and visual quality. Playing in 1140p with constant 60 FPS on all settings maxed out is quite a tricky part for most available single GPUs in the best looking games…
The next card I’m planning on buying is the Nvidia ASUS GTX 780, considered using the TI but it is actually a huge price difference. It is possible that I’m still going to use it in 2015 as well.
I will try to explain to you why I chose the Palit GTX780 Super Jetstream over other GTX780’s and a 780 Ti. I checked benchmarks and reviews over and over since this still is a big investment to make (at least for me ;)). After checking prices a 780 Ti simply was too expensive and, at least imho, not worth that much more money of a 780.
Since I ran into a review that amazed me, since the Palit GTX780 Super Jetstream is supposed to be faster than a GTX Titan. Yes, I know, the Titan still has a better “Double-Precision-Performance” and double the RAM, but for the price of this GTX780 S.J. (about 430€) the performance is simply amazing. This is the Review I’m talking about. Unfortunately it is in german.
You’re right, it is actually better. But it is also more expensive. Good thing that money won’t be a problem for me this time. So I’ll take 1!
The good ol’ GTX 780 SC ACX.
Radeon HD 7950… unless I finally found a game it couldn’t run at 1080p, or I upgraded my monitor to a 1440p or even 4K one.
Iam using Radeon 9550, beat this!
Intel integrated graphics all the way!
If they keep and implement all the ideas we are giving, we will need 16-sli-high-end video cards and 1024 cores processors
Gtx 770, but i think i might build a new pc for next year and i want to get the 780ti for it or better
3gb GTX 770 OC
This should be enough im hoping…
