After doing a few swordfights at the soliders camp, I seem to have this buff that slowly takes my heath down to the point I die, bandages won’t heal me (nothing to heal) and eating food doesn’t help.
You poisoned yourself eating rotten food (or poison conceivably).
Don’t eat ‘red’ food (you can still sell it on, for full prices ~ which is a bit odd). When condition is 0% it will frequently cause poison, but it can be dangerous at any of the lower levels.

Is it possible to treat this somehow?
Yes. Obtain (buy or make) the Antidote at one of the Herbalist huts or from the Samopesch Merchant…
Note it is expensive enough that you would probably be better off making one, but in extremis you could buy it and then make several to sell to him to recover the money.
