Hey guys and gals, so grabbed the game yesterday enjoyed the prologue, felt well paced and introduced the game very well. Now after the prologue the games become rather… Stale? I did a few jobs for the miller and now have one that involved me walking a long distance, great I thought finally I can see the open world.
The world seems dead? I don’t know who has side quests? Are they marked or do you have to talk to everyone? Some people seem like they have quests for me but all I can do is pickpocket them (they sat things along the lines of “I have a plan” or something as I walk by). The villages are all copy and pasted with little life in them, I came across a wanderer, he doesn’t talk? Can only pick pocket him. The world feels very empty of anything to do other than walk. I spent about an hour just walking and didn’t run into anything interesting at all. Sure the game looks good, but I was hoping for more than a walking simulator.
I suppose what I want to know is what am I doing wrong? I see people are spending hours and hours outside of the main quest doing things but I can’t seem to find anything to do. I don’t want to rush through the main quest but atm I can’t find anything else to do. Have I been unlucky not running into side quests? As I said earlier villages seem to be copy and paste, the inn, a black Smith etc etc
