I don’t think, that double wielding is smart, cus archers will kill you for sure( About vikings). I guess, it’s a bit of fiction.

I’m just thinking about practicality, i mean even the dagger and rapier combo of the reneissance is predominantly civilian weapons, not something you would use on a battlefield, similarly there’s not a whole lot to do in a shield wall with two axes. Of course, it can’t be ruled out entirely as you say.

So… now that game is out, what weapons are so far your picks? I have been using sword so far, the ‘‘Needle’’ But I want to upgrade, and I love axe’s and that’s what I want. But Im not sure how good desision that is, yes it’s better against heavy armored people then the sword but what about overall?..
