I am pretty curious what 1.6 will bring! * u *
I really hope for dynamic hoods, they look so cool on the bandits and the little icon while fast travel!
What would you like to see, or do you know something?
Edit: typos

Lots of bug fixes.
Well, according to release dates of previous patches we will get one of the dlc, but that will be in 2-3 months.
I’d like to see controllable dynamic visors, i. e. so that I could decide when to lower it and when to raise, and so that it is in its correct position when in 3rd person (dialogues etc.).
a n00b mode so the little kids can play without whinging about how hard the game is would be good!
I would like more quests.
all of rattay and the military camp out by Merhojed run at at least 35FPS
Options to customize HUD
Volumetric fog
Dialogs in full-screen
Mouse support in dialogs
Fix the Timmy quest bandits
Exactly. When I have halberd, it is down and I am only picking flowers, then I sneak, and it goes up and down like roller coaster.
Isn’t Rattay biggest town in game, even two castles? It is very demanding, when I run into it, I always have shady and missing textures and invisible NPCs. Tweaking ultra to low graphics didn’t help.
Revised 20JUN2018
Fixing bugs and bad design flaws should be a given. Beyond that ambiguous feedback, some specifics:
-fix playline2 so Master Vanyek isn’t hostile/nonresponsive in Skalitz
-improve graphics so no more Missile Command, clear sky rain
-improve graphics by reducing or eliminating pop-ins
-enable horse trampling (during combat; now that NPCs can knock you off, about time Jenda can knock them off)
-factor Henry’s weight and inventory in his possession into his horse’s carrying capacity
-make polearm improvements so Henry can use, store with same ease as other weapons
-enable crossbows (Henry and NPCs)
-enable drinking and eating animations at tavern/inn
-enable conversations, drinking games, and related content to drinking parties (3 or more people at table; during evening)
-improve guard/soldier squad combat behaviour (team AI)
-eliminate quest completion artifacts (eg missing and/or inappropriate dialog choices after completion of quest)
-enable the ability to tie up enemy NPCs that surrender
-enable the ability to deliver tied up surrendered NPCs to nearest bailiff
-enable the ability to arm friendly NPCs that have been untied
-add mounted NPCs, esp mounted Cuman at their camps and in groups
-tweak the dropping of carcasses on path (when within LOD) so that it doesn’t look like KCD is raining dead animals
-enforce better continuity (reconciliation) of Henry’s armor between cutscenes and before/afterwards
-enable (quicker) removal of smoldering buildings as well as carcasses on road within quicker timeframe (or include more models at different stages of degradation)
-enable the ability to stockpile flowers, etc into alchemy chest
-enable the ability to use holy water font to sign the cross (add to church going NPCs behaviour)
-enable a better switch mechanism torch-shield
-add the ability to assign actions to joystick control (or don’t keep draw/fire, body orientation and canter/gallop in same side of joystick)
-add the ability to toggle visor open and closed with key/button; and remove automatic moving of the visor up/down when pulling out/sheathing melee weapon
-have Martin assign Henry maintenance quests: sword sharpening and kit fixing of mace for at least 2 skill points (that way blacksmith’s son/apprentice actually has XP and skill at said trade prior to leaving Skalitz)
-match fish in fish trap with fish swimming around trap
-get rid of standing mercy kill NPCs that can’t be killed
-get rid of tailor animations away from their tables
-improve awareness of ambush NPCs (track Henry’s moves and pounce when close so absurd sneaks and kills by Henry eliminated)
-replace top of the line Aachen and Milanese armor posessed by Cuman bosses with better combat ability (eg give them a buff that neutralizes Cuman killer perk)
-create a better NPC collision mechanic (eg stupid NPCs that walk into Henry shouldn’t complain)
-add more of Cuman/Sigismund troops (models and gear) from pre-sacking cutscene to post-sacking world
-add the ability to wake up knocked out NPCs (with First Aid I/II perk)
-add the ability to give bandages/potions (eg marigold) to guard NPCs to heal/recover/buff prior to and after battles (with First Aid II/III perks)
-add the ability to request (commission) specific clothing (gambeson, vest, pants, etc) with specific colors (esp those found in crests/guard shields) with cloth (wool, satin, damask, etc) purchased/acquired
-enable the ability to set, select, store a kit (collection of selected armor and weapons)
-enable the ability to designate items as loot (enabling quick selection of all for storage/sale) vs keeper within inventory
-enable the ability within inventory to sort by slot types (eg 6 armor slots) or gear type (mace vs longword vs bow vs etc)
-add/restore melee sparring within combat arena at Merhojed soldier camp
-relocate Merhojed camp and its soldiers to open fields near Talmberg during Seige (related) quest(s)
Which if any of the above and elsewhere in this forum targeted for 1.6? Rain and playline2 Vanyek only ones I’ve heard @WH_janrucker @DrFusselpulli
Acording to their E3 interviews we are going to get Hardcore mode in a few days, then the 1st DLC a few days after that, along with patch 1.6.
I would like:
I love this game and it’s a huge learning curve since it’s so detailed and realistic. Finally a game I am challenged like the old days of gaming.
Hardcore mode please
Patience Patawan. end of june.
I hope the From the Ashes DLC is released soon; I cannot wait. A superb addition to a superb game. Finally a place to call my own.
I’ve been asking for this for months - the ability to dismount and lead your horse around by the bridle.
A bit more realistic than the whistling teleportation…
Seeing how all of the patches have came out on Friday, just guessing but Hardcore Mode will probably arrive Friday (6/22) and From the Ashes (6/29).
Even if straight up trampling isn’t enabled, I’d like to see enemy NPCs take (more) stam hits when you bump into them with your horse. And, hope Pribyslavitz blacksmith is going to offer the rest of the horse armor kit (eg, peytral)
