What happens if you get caught for murder? Can you pay your way out? Jail time or does it end the game?
I think the most is 10 days in jail. Your reputation should go back to 50 after the jailbird cuffs disappear 
Henry should be hanged for murder 
high speech skill or cash can get you out of it just like IRL, Super rich/ influence get off & the common duffer is screwed.

I try not to murder in towns and reload if accidently do instead of knocking out.
Sometimes you don’t have a choice other than to serve your time. It is better for your rep.
