can i play at med graphics 60fps?
Well i got a crappy ole 650 ti, and i can run the alpha at medium at around 25-30 fps. So i’m sure you’ll run it just fine.

Yeah i would assume its normal. This alpha added a lot of new features so the optimization kinda got fucked a little. The optimization will certainly get better over time.
so id atleast get 60fps on med 1920by1080 when it gets more stable?
Can’t say for sure, but cry engine games usually run great, at least in my experience. So by the time this game is ready to come out i bet you will be getting 60 fps at 1920by 1080

dude i just upgraded from gtx 770 to the 970 and added another 8gbs of ram im now running a smooth >40 frames a sec on 1920X1080
The performance of the (current) Alpha 0.4 dropped a lot to a point where it’s nearly unplayable on older machines, because of the new characters and complicated AI they added. Alpha 0.3 was much better.
Things will develop until 2016, for example the new version of the Cryengine will provide us with better lighting in the future.
How much all this will influence the performance on your system I’m not sure, but it will be certainly much better than in the current Alpha
