When is the exact release time?

I have read many conflicting sources for this info. I saw a dev say it would release to play at 8am (gmt) on the 13th. I saw several people say that it would release at 10pm on the 12th and the main countdown clock says it would drop at 12 noon on the 13th. Which of these is actually correct? Is it area specific? If so what is the time for England?

9AM CET, so 8AM in England

Thank you. That was posted about 10 mins before my post so I probably just missed it when I stopped searching. I had seen a dev called Rick (I think that was his tag) say similair but he wasn’t sure. Why doesn’t it match with the main countdown clock?

How come a lot of people are already playing it before release tomorrow?

because retailers are cunts and console versions don’t have DRM

Great, 9 am CET or 7 pm for us Australians. Shame, hoped this dev wouldn’t just fuck us like the others but no dice.

Kickstarted and people still get to play it before me as day one purchases, phenomenal

Was confused too. Bought this way back in December of 2016. Will wait for tomorrow.

Technically we aren’t entitled to anything more. As nothing more was advertised. We got what we paid for.

I should be entitled to the same release time as those on Consoles though.

We were entitled to the Beta extra, and what a reward that was /s

the problem was that retailers sold it too early, it wasnt the fault of warhorse
all digital versions are locked until release.
Why are you bothering so much about 2-3 days?

That’s not the concern. The concern is anybody that bought digital versions on PS4 or Xbox already has the game unlocked. Steam is just the odd one out.

nothing odd about releasing a game at release date, my info is that console digital versions cant play either

@DoddsyPC - I don’t think anyone who has the digital version on the console is playing. As far as I am aware, only some folks who found physical copies early can play. I can’t speak to PS4, but on Xbox, a lot of us haven’t even received our code yet, and the game is locked on the MS store until 11pm CST time tonight (at least for me). So, even if I had the code, I could download it but it wouldn’t let me play until that time.

Im not a backer on kickstarter (as i learnt about the game at a later time) but i pre-ordered the game on the PS-Store two weeks ago. My game finished downloading 2 days ago but is now locked until 12 am tonight. I’m just hoping that the day one patch will release at the same time or i’ll just have to wait for tomorrow. So i’ll guess i can play it tonight at 12 am but i may be incorrect. I’m just hoping that you’ll all have a great time with it. I can understand that especially since you backed the game you are frustrated.

That I do not get.
I ain’t no backer either and bought the game december last year. I can not even download.
Why are there differences among players?

I’m backer since 2015 and today i received physical edition , but still I cant download it . :sob:

If someone bought a physical copy, then it is hard to ensure that no one gets it before release hour. if they only started sending the physical copies after release, then many people would get their game week or even later after release. Honestly, after 4 years of waiting for the game after pledging, I think we can handle a few people getting the game a bit early.

It is not that I can’t handle it. It is just something I’m trying to understand.
I do understand they can’t stop the hardcopy versions, but how can some people receive key/download/play via Steam and some can not?

Again, if I do not find the answer to this question, if I can not solve this intriguing mystery, I will survive. Don’t worry…

From what I heard so far I do not think that anyone on Steam can play yet. Or do we have some proof of any PC Steam player being able to play? (Except for some streamers doing reviews and receiving the game ahead of time to help the marketing of the game.)
