I think the title says it all, I am End game and just got the DLC from the ashes. Captain Bernard wont take any of it

Once you’ve cleared the final camp he’s given you the location of, he’ll send you on to the next town that has a bandit problem, and you’ll be able to get rid of them there (or at the next town, depending on which camp you cleared) upon completion of the relevant clearance mission.
eventually Cpt Bernard will hire you to clear bandit camps, getting ears and stirrups. Stirrups are the main quest item but ears he’ll pay for. However, after him Sir Robard will hire you (not necessarily in that order, idk who’s first actually lol) and then some other dude who I never worked for in my game.
SAVE ALL YOUR EARS FOR THE LAST GUY
Though each person you work for will pay you the last guy will pay you the most so you can stock pile and cash in at the end, along with selling loot you find.
could be an end game glitch though, i hear there are a lot of people having problems. Maybe load back a save or two
