Surely the Excutioner wanted his Identity not to be known, That’s why he lives out the city. That Mask would be great for STealth characters.
I guess this game is based on historical document and painting, so there will be no mask for executioners.
Executioner’s mask is just a myth created by Hollywood films and horror fiction.
Besides, executioners are professions that people highly respect. They are skilled and well-paid in Medieval times. Not anyone could be assigned as an executioner. So there is no way they wanted to hide themselves from fame.

Respect and fame? That’s why none is talking to him and he has a hard time to settle down with a woman? Dunno if you have played his quest line but he explains that while he gets a good payment people hardly sympathize with him cause of his job. Executioners were seen as the lowest of all (most of times were criminals). Some times executioners could not find a woman to marry unless a previous executioner had a daughter. There have been writings that refers to separate diner plates and cups at inns so none had to touch the “dirty” things an executioner has touched. Their clothes were some times marked etc.
