If you look in your quest log, you will notice a quest to go visit the trainer. And if you look at your map, you’ll see a big Q icon where your quest objectives are.
The quest location isn’t the ‘flag’ portion of the map icon, but where the staff of the flag is in the ground. This has caused confusion in the past.
He’s usually sitting on a stump near the entrance to the arena. The map shows you the general location, and the compass pointer shows you the exact person.
