I need to find some lockpicks to break open some chests. I’ve been told Votava sells a few, but I just can’t find him at anytime of day! He’s not near the gate next to the guard for me. Been waiting there for a couple days.
This is all way after burying Henry’s parents.
I’ve just assumed he disappears after the quest at this point.
He shouldn´t. He has no daycycle(maybe the only NPC in the game who never moves), and sits always in the same place…
He was also sitting there for me, but I do not know when it happened, he disappeared, I looked for him in the house, but no.
For all of my playthroughs I have Voltava disappear sometime after the battle at Presavlitz (sorry about the spelling).
Votava never disappears for me (and I’ve played the game 5 times). There are other places you can find lockpicks: Millers sell them and I think also Andrew in the Inn in the Glade, some bandits have them (kill & loot), some chests contain lockpicks and also a few nests.
