I’m trying to infiltrate the camp in armor. I got some armor from the box in the northern part of camp, but may have sold some pieces before seeing this was used for this. What pieces are required? I keep getting recognized.
The items in the chest are enough for a disguise. A lot of people seems to struggle with this part, but if I may suggest going in the middle of the night when most of the camp is sleeping? Makes things so much easier.
What chest? I just ended up killing a few cumans down the road and taking what they had

But, I don’t remember which items were in the chest. I may have sold some. I have tried equipping only the things with the word “cuman” in them. This is not enough.
I think the most important things are a closed cuman helmet and at least some cuman body armor.
They will stop you anyway if you go to close to a cuman.
I personally wear from head to toe cuman armor everywhere including the weapons but that’s just for me 
There is an entry to the camp on the northern side. There is a chest in the little shack when you first enter.

What specific pieces? Or at least how many if there are too many to list easily?
If you are standing in front of the camp (before the bridge) you can sneak through the forest on the right side. There is one spot were you can go in the camp. It´s a little shack and there´s a chest on the other side of the room with cuman armour. It has an easy lock and contains the pieces in the picture. Sorry it´s in german but you can see what armour it is by the little pictures.

Well, it seems that is not the problem. I’ve got all the pieces. Are there other requirements for infiltration? I’ve been through the camp and burned the arrows and mapped the place for Radzig. Am I remembered? I’ve come back with laundered clothes, because maybe getting them dirty is a problem. I’ve never gone to the dialogue screen. They just shout at me from a distance and attack.
I took the armour and poisoned one pot of food. Then there came two cumans and even if I didn´t understand a word I listened to them and stood right next to them. Tey didn´t react at all. Then I turned around and I was going to poison another po. I wasn´t running or anything. Walking as slow as they walk. But all of a sudden the combat symbol appeared and they shoutet at my so I ran ot of the camp. Only these two cumans have seen me. I ran through the forest and tryed to go in the camp through the “main entrance” (over the bridge). But as I came closer to the guear on the bridge he ran towards me and The combat symbol was there again. Maybe you have only a certain amount of time before they recognize you trough the armour?
Well, I’ve seen guides that show a dialogue, with options like (paraphrasing) “fake Hungarian” “walk away angrily” “shrug shoulders”. They are supposed to do this if you are in Cuman armor.
They will remember you from your first visit.
I took the armor from the chest and started on the south side where the bandits are. They will leave you in peace while you walk around.
So mapping the camp started easy.
Got caught poisoning their food and ran away.
Tried my luck at the cuman side. But they start a fight on sight.
Headed back to Radsik and started the battle. Won anyway…
Has anyone tried to do this twofold:
- come during the day, disguised and map out the the camps
- come back at night and poison the pots and/or burn the arrows?
Yes, that’s basically what I did. I scoured during the day and poisoned one food pot and burned 2 arrows before having to flee. I then went back at night to finish the food and arrows, and was able to finish without even seeing any enemies that were awake. Was very easy.
