Which settings can i play KCD?

No Dan. No .

Jesus I could at least feel less guilty recommding and Xbox Scorpio. Or Xbox 1 x what ever.

And this is from someone who has helped people building thousands of PC’s.

Do not half ass. As with everything in life. Honestly.

If you want a proper pc. Don’t half ass. Do your homework. I can tell you exactly what you need show you exact parts. But it won’t be the same. Do your homework. You’ll be glad. For that price you will make a PC you will be proud of and also able to diagnose easier should anything ever go wrong.

If you cannot for what ever reason build yourself. At least seek a balance between CPU and GPU. That is wayyyy off balance . The GPU is weak.

Never buy a PC, have it built and customized to whatever you like, within your budget, of course. It’s cheaper that way.

It’s a decent tower, I’ll give you that, but for the price you could get one with a 1060 gtx, not a 1050. Ignore these people, if you don’t know how to build a PC and don’t want to bother doing it. Then buy a built one, the only difference is that you’ll be spending $100 extra or more. But it’s better than buying incorrect parts that aren’t compatible with the technology you purchased and then having to spend more money to buy the correct one and return the last one. Happened to me :frowning: I should’ve payed more attention.

But if do want to build your own, I know a YouTuber who makes amazing builds.

Science Studio is his username, search it on YouTube. He uses Newegg.com and best buy to purchase the parts he needs.

Also here’s a video where he compares the price of the parts to build your own and the price of an already built PC. https://youtu.be/EXJtadfBO7U

Wow guys so much different advices my budget is around 1.000 euros i’m not to picky about specs and playing every game on ultra setting. I just want a decent desktop to play games such as KCD and i can upgrade my pc in the future.

He doesn’t have to build his own PC, nor buy one. He can and should have a computer shop build it for him, and not only is it cheaper than buying a PC, but they even guide you through what is best for your needs, based on the games you are wanting to play and your budget. They will always suggest installing the best bang for your buck. I have been doing it for years and have Zero complaints. I’ve been doing business with this PC shop for 12 years now. It might take a bit longer to get a PC, but it’s worth every dollar spent.

Then go with that one, but be aware, that you will need to upgrade your graphics card ASAP, in order to play the newer games. And right now, is a terrible time to buy a graphics card, because of what’s going on in Russia and the high demand for 1080TI GPU’s. Good luck even finding one that isn’t way overpriced, due to supply and demand. Good luck to you, in whichever route you decide to take.

I am taking your advice of talking to a pc store first , i’ve got a good pc store in my city who can help me further.
thx for the advice guys, i will keep you guys up to date with my progress.
ps this thread also may help people who are in the same situation as I am.

Hi, Looking forward to the relesase in 2 weeks! Have been waithing since early 2016 and i know i wont regret it…
Just wondering on minimal system requirements to play this game on best optimal settings:

I have:
Intelcore i5-6400 2.70 ghz
16 GB RAM
GeForce GTX 960

Would this setup run smoothly or should i upgrade perhaps?!

Smoothly 60FPS on minimum? Maybe.
Upgrade? As long as prices are so high right now, I would wait.

Hi guys. Today i had visited a PC shop they build pc’s and they recommended me that building a pc now isn’t a good idea (because of the high prices of CPU’s). He gave me three advices.
1- Wait till prices go down and then build a pc
2-He showed me a used HP Elite Z420 Workstation, Intel E5-1620, 16GB, 500GB, AMF Firepro for 499 euro’s, which as I only upgrade the graphics card to a gtx 1060 or higher I can play all the current games on medium or higher.
3- I showed him this desktop https://secure.newegg.com/Shopping/ShoppingCart.aspx?submit=view and he said it was a decent dekstop for its price since it before the miner’s crisis.

what are you guys thoughts?

your link is broken since its your shopping cart
you mean high gpu prices not cpu
I dont know if this will end anytime soon… I hope the prices will go down sometime but my gtx970 should be alright for now (its currently about 400€)

That’s not bad! But make sure to find, buy and install at least an Nvidia 1060 ASAP and as prices come down. I’d probably do it, in the current situation of KCD just 2 weeks away and the graphics cards being overpriced ATM. I say,… Go for it!

Nice!.. So, what are you waiting for?.. Only 5 left in stock, so you better jump on it now before they are sold out. :grinning:

yeah this desktop PC looks pretty nice, when it fits in your budget I’d buy it
you need monitor too though if you dont have one

Killer PC for such price. If I trusted Newegg I would buy.

I would not buy a noname PC -> In 95% the Mainboards are noname and cheap productions. they are the cause of crashes and bluescreens (Ram, Graphic, processor do not work tiogether well)

Dell , Siemens, Acer etc… have in many cases their own Standards, not recommended for Gamers.

best choice is self made PC: Asus or Gigabyte MB, good ram, Intel I5,7 and a case with a big fan in front panel that blows the heat through the case complete to backside. thats important! Designer cases may look good, but the heat flow is very bad.

Guys
I have decided not making any rash decisions of buying a PC.
I’m going to trying playing on my laptop first since I already have pre-ordered the game.
I’m waiting for the GPU’s prices to drop and then i’m going to build a sick gaming PC for future gaming.

Thanks for your help guys.

ps maybe if I win the contsest it won’t be necesssary : ).

But dont be disappointed when it doesnt run on your laptop.
Imo your GPU (GTX960M) does not fit the minimum requirements - you can test it though and update us if it works
I’m also not sure about GPU prices dropping anytime soon
lets hope for the best
edit: FPS also depend on your resolution so if you have a 1920x1080 Monitor it will be rough I guess
