There was a lot of positive hype on the SC forums about KC after CR posted this great news item:

I’ve actually gone the other way. I hadn’t heard of Star Citizen before the support wave came in and now I’m getting really hyped about starting an organization and taking to the stars.

Chris Roberts making a game is just awesome. I follow SC pretty closely and am stoked for the game to come out (when it’s ready).

I came over from Star Citizen too. I can’t wait to fly my Freelancer, but if the frame rate in the hangar module is any indicator, then it looks like I’ll need to be building a new machine (or maybe just upgrade my SLI video cards).
Not as of yet. Since I’m so late to the Star Citizen party I feel like I need to do more research before I can really choose where I want to buy in at. I’m looking to start a guild of galactic academics and scientists…so I’m thinking something based more on utility and endurance rather than pure assault power.
Perhaps even a guild base made up of Kingdom Members who are looking to become Star Citizens.
i came from star citizen but a bit late to tell my gameing club but soon as shop is open thay will be getting the game as there all Medieval nutz.
I came from Star Citizen and liked what I saw here. Also, if Chris Roberts supports these guys then that is good enough for me, as well.

This cooperation between CIG and Warhorse is something I like to see… so I was happy to back this project. The passion is about making the best game possible, which is what I want to see more of in the game development world.

Yea, I followed Sir Roberts to this place, and decided to back it some. I have another name and face on the SC forum though.
I actually followed this game independently of SC but I am a backer of both.
The collaboration between the 2 should make both games that much better than the awesome they already were going to be.
I hope they are a minority and it stays this way! As much as i like 4X games SC will Fail to deliver its promises! And i hope KCD will not!
