Who came across from Star Citizen?!

I Jumped here from Star Citzen as well. glad to see devs working together from completely different genre’s to better gaming overall

I was already watching this but I backed SC first…

SC backer here too. I’m also eagerly awaiting The Mandate and Satellite Reign.

You know this games coming out for the PS4 and Xbone right?, people on those other two platforms have been pledging too.

Came from SC too, backer since 2012/10 and i pledge for Kingdom Come since CR talk about it!

I also heard about this game from CR’s post on the SC site. I loved the look of this game and the idea of playing a character more like it would be in medieval times (without all the fluff of magic and fictional creatures)

That is exactly how I found out about this game. Both really cool. How awesome to have companies share ideas and work especially at this level.

@213 I definitely think it’s a fair question. Will a collaboration equate to more financial support for KCD? Maybe if we are nice to them more will join us on our adventure

Seriously though, it appears maybe the SC team has some experiences that would be useful and possibly help our guys avoid some time/money pitfalls. Trial and error can be a waste of resources so my motto is “Why reinvent the wheel if we don’t have to?” Time will tell if it’s a good fit.

I also discovered this game when Chris Roberts mentioned it on the RSI website. I spent some time reading and watching all the contents on the Kickstarter page and on the Warhorse Studios Youtube channel and decided to back the game. It’s nice to see a game approaching medieval times in a more realistic way and I was pretty impressed with the combat mechanics (you can actually see where you’re hitting your opponent and the effects of your blow instead of having the impression of striking the air like, for example, in the Elder Scrolls series.

I was monitoring this project before CR’s post on RSI’s site. I almost forgot to back before the deadline! SC has taken quite a bit of my funds, but thankfully KCD now has some as well.

I’ve seen several names from my own SC Org dotted around these forums who’ve backed, which is all good!

I wish I could say I was one of those who backed prior to the mention on Star Citizen, but I simply missed Kingdom Come: Deliverance prior to that. Glad I’m here now though - and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing both games succeed!

SC Backer here as well, although I jumped on here long before the announcement (and was actively sending people here before then too). Warhorse looks to have a solid base of tech and a solid world/story to fill it with… which is always more meaningful to me than whether it has SF/Fantasy/Realistic components… if the story is engaging and makes sense, the mechanics fit, and the team is capable delivering on it, that’s a trifecta towards success… I think KC: D has it in Spades (“Leaves”, in german card suits, but I’m not sure that’s the common trump suit… “Burgher’s” in historical cards)

SC backer here as well. Found out about KC after CR posted about it, backed it about 10 minutes later.

Star Citizen Scout here, found them both separately actually, my brother told me about Kingdom Come, then I saw the news about SC endorsing it.

Like a lot of you, I found this before they started promoting each other, but I’ve been following SC from the very beginning. Two awesome concepts and I couldn’t be happier that they’re working together to make both games better.

I had seen the leaked video of this game last year, before it had a name. I was super excited by what I saw. I had no idea it was called Kingdom Come and would have COMPLETELY missed the Kickstarter if I hadn’t seen the Comm-Link about it.

So, thanks to Chris Roberts, both for making SC and for pointing me here.

I am a Grand Admiral and have been gradually upping my pledge and participating on the SC forums for about a year now. I’m looking forward to both games!

Thanks for starting this thread… I was curious about the same thing.

Another one here from Star Citizen. First heard about the kickstart on the Star Citizen forums, and was on the fence about it until the CR news item convinced me to back.

Bumped my pledge up to King when I heard about the help they were giving each other. Warms the cockles of my heart it does

Also came from SC, saw the news and pledged after a few days. Linux support really nailed it even more though, Currently upgrading my dual core to Quad core 64 bit, Shroud of the Avatar ran slow and it needs the boost :).

I saw the post from Chris Roberts about this game and couldn’t resist. I have the same name over there and am a High Admiral.
