I found out about Kingdom Come: Deliverance from the Roberts Space Industries website. My two biggest interests are science and history. 2014-2015 looks to be an amazing time for those of us who share these interests! I canāt even imagine how the advent of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technology will further immerse us in these fascinating worlds.
Thatās not a very friendly attitude you are displaying, Ziltoid. No matter how a person discovers this game, their money goes to make it better. I donāt see how a large influx of people from one community to another could hurt game development, except it would allow the different communities to become acquainted with each other as we all have a common goal to support games that donāt get made because people in suits canāt see the profit.
Also, Star Citizen isnāt a 4X game, itās a space simulator. Itās 70% first person vehicle piloting and 30% first person close quarters combat. That makes it 100% first person, just like Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be.

Actually didnāt know about SC until I saw the post on KCD about sharing. Went over and pledged a few ships at SC now as well

I came to Kingdom Come Deliverance via a Eurogamer article. As soon as I heard of the Kickstarter, I watched it for a while, then once I saw the combat video, I pledged on the Earl tier. I already knew of Star Citizen beforehand of course through TotalBiscuitās coverage of the game and I still go over to the RSI website occasionally to see if they have any news.

Indeed. They are both great games which Iām quite hyped about and because of the devs sharing I ended up backing this game as well!

I had originally heard about KC before the kickstarter campaign, but there was very little info about the game, just a very short teaser vid, so I had forgotten about it.
Thanks to CRās post, I was able to back KC just in time. 
I think the Star Citizen $42 mil funding goal will be a distant solar system with a small planet. A water world with a small 9km patch of land, and a blacksmith that you can trade with, andā¦
