Hi,
I’ve just pledged. I’m also a star citizen, originally saw an advert for deliverance on the SC website. I love the idea of this game, and would like to attack / defend a castle, like age of empires / stronghold, but actually in 1st/3rd person… looks amazing… cant wait to play the game!!!
The Star Citizen post drew me here as well. I am excited about Kingdom Come, but sure would appreciate more frequent and informative updates!
I became a SC first and invested in KC second. I wanted to back KC as soon as I saw the thread from Chris Roberts on the RSI feed but it wasn’t till a couple week ago I was able to get my steering committee (my Wife) to agree. After watching several video updates with her she is excited about the game play in the fantastically realistic world being created. She is anticipating the game as much as me: LOL. My handle on SC is rrcyberhead as well. See you in the Kingdom and the Verse
Citizen of Star Citizen, and backer for Elite Dangerous as well
I came across from SC also! These are both games that I have been waiting for someone to develop for a long time. I am only too happy to help that in any way I can
Me too…
I actually pledged viscount months ago (May 18th, had to check my email)… but realized the time it takes to follow two games in development is pretty intense… especially with all the crap they throw at us over there to keep us busy… I am guilty of only occasionally popping in over here to see how things are going. Wish I’ve been more involved before now.
This is my first forum post actually…
It was from there that I had heard of this project… Don’t know how I had missed it, but I had. I am actually grateful, CR and company gave me the head’s up. It was a solid recommendation. Just a few minutes of nosing around it quickly became apparent ‘This is for me!!’. Really excited about this one.
Is it me, or is pretty much anything of interest going on in the gaming world happening on the Indie side of the fence? None of the majors have anything I’ve heard of up and coming NEARLY as interesting as this, or Star Citizen, or Elite: Dangerous… is this the Indie revolution or what? The depth, the detail of what this game promises to be… I’ve always wanted an RPG like this. Their feature set is an RPG wish list for me.
There was a big fantasy game coming up that I had planned to buy, long history with the series etc… had a chance to try it out and quickly realized it was NOT for me. No need to slag them, it’s nice game many are enjoying, just not for me… I gave Warhorse that money instead. A few months on? Pattin’ myself on the back for the smart move I made. Seriously, for my taste and preferences in games… my money clearly went to right place here. In fact, I’ll be bumping myself up to Earl at some point I’m sure.
I wonder if they’ll ever do any kind of cross promotion like they did with SotA? Pledge at minimum level here (or a purchase for existing pledges), get a shield to hang in the hanger in SC, folks here who pledge there get… an Astrolabe? I dunno something… Might be a way to nudge them over the next stretch goal (and if there is one thing Star Citizens know well, it’s pledge goals… all together now… SPACE PLANTS!)
Any advice on the best way to get up to speed on the current state of things? Been reading blogs Looks like Alpha is a few months out? I’m in no rush… rather it be right that quick
Also, really digging this forum software for composing posts…
SC backer!!! Great to be here as well!!
I backed Kingdom Come before the SC announcement. But SC is definitely my most anticipated game, followed closely by KC and Pillars of Eternity.
Told you I was going to bump up…
Bummer, no evidence I was ever a Viscount… all posts went to Earl.
Definitely money well spent. Digging this game, digging Warhorse. Have another $40 gents… and now I get those awesome precursors to computer gaming… AND a coin…
I wounder what game will come out first star citizen or kingdomcome and no am not trying to rush the game. I want a game that isn’t rushed.
Having access to these games so early in their development makes it so difficult to say what will come out first, lol
I backed Star Citizen in May 2013 and as Chris Roberts mentioned this game I came across to Kingdom Come immediately.
Coming from SC as well. Great to be here.
