Will the pop in and texture Issue be fixed with the 1.3 update?

Question above because that is what keeps me from playing the game it looks to damn ugly. (xbox one x)

I wasn’t aware that this was an issue. I play on PS4 Pro and everything has been nothing but pretty. No pop in or missing textures that have seriously caught my eye. This game is so weird because some people have no issues at all and rarely does everybody have the same issue.

I think you just don’t notice it it has nothing to do with some peoples eyes it is in fact well documented:

Holy crap that’s so bad in that video. My game definitely doesn’t pop in like that. I have seen an issue like that on the main menu right after a load fails. That’s the issue I have been having lately where my saves don’t load and get deleted. Maybe they are corrupted or something. But when a load fails it kicks out to the main menu and I actually watch models and textures pop in as it builds the scene.

How is that possible ? Can you make a video ? Because i don’t believe you tbh. For me it’s the same as in the video textures don’t load until you are 3-5 meters in front of them and often even small objects like beer mugs on tables pop in right in front of you, not even speaking about the ugliest lod’s i have ever seen on this current gen console let alone for an xbox one x enhanced title. I am currently not playing anymore and i will not pick up the game until this is fixed.

I dont understand either since the consoles should be identical… but its a different experience for everyone
about 1.3 I dont know if they already work on performance issues but It should get better over time… first priority is probably questbug fixes

No that’s completely crazy. I don’t have pop in like that. I’m at work right now so I can’t make a video. I’m not sure how to even share gameplay video from my PS4 here.

I heard that this is a engine issue and can’t be fixed it has something to do with how the cryengine spreads the workload on the cpus ore something basically everything is bloated on 2 cores and consoles have very bad cpu’s even the enhanced consoles. So it’s possible that it will never be fixed.
And to your point i don’t believe that it is better for some people without a proof. Proof it if it looks better because reputable sources have tested this and all the console versions are technically identical. It seems to me that some Console players have low standards when it comes to graphics and/or are fanboying this game.

To me, that means temp file/cached data different and source of corruption

I lost sound and NPCs didn’t mouth dialog. All required files present. Not function of specific quest action. Restarted system and reloaded same file: sound back and NPCs mouth words. Exact same situation.

I’ve only seen streams of PS4 but havent noticed bad pop ins
I play on PC myself, cant really tell how/if it differs between consoles maybe its just the players

I have a lag in rendering but nothing like other PS4 (pro) users

PC has higher draw distance on consoles the draw distance is absolutely pathetic and downgraded worse then watchdogs 1. Watch at 1:13 to see the main menue on console… look at that 5 meter draw distance and the fence without any textures xD

Whats funny and sad is they pop in, then clothes pop on… you can’t tell if they are villagers or soldiers from far away…

I notice that too Cloth is popping in on people it’s funny and sad. It’s funny to see it of course and then you feel bad that you paid 60€ for a beta.

NPC-wise, hats/helmets, etc are the only thing that noticeably/distractingly pop in for me (reg PS4)

So on your main menue when you boot up the game the fence isn’t missing any texutres ?
Edit: ah you said its the only thing YOU notice. Because some people have low standards or don’t mind horrible graphics. (i dont mean it as an insult)

When I visit Sasau and approach the gate to monastery, the whole frickin lot lags. Basic bldg shape 1-2 sec delay. Texture 1-2 secs after that. Not every time but often

FO4 does same (eg when approaching Sanctuary) but the distance seems further away. Weird thing is that when I run in FO4, sys struggles (lags) at times to render in advance. In KCD, flying down path at 50 on a horse, everything there except NPC hats and then large buildings when in approaching towns

Regardless, KCD has a rendering/pop in issue that needs addressing

I get terrible pop in textures on PC, but it usually rights itself in 30 seconds. Not good though. I’m more concerned about low FPS but that has improved recently.

No I’m definitely not fanboying this game. I am well aware of the issues. I just haven’t had any graphical issues myself. I will see about sharing some video with you when I get a chance. i know this game has tons of issues. I have not had the graphical issues and since not everyone does, it gives me hope that they can fix it. To be completely honest, the issues that you are having are more what I expect out of this game. Warhorse doesn’t have a huge team and a low budget. I have been amazed that the game looks as good as it does for me.

I recently approached Rattay, and I thought Sigismund had arrived and destroyed the city gates, until slowly the walls popped back into place. lol. That was the most extreme case I’ve seen. Normally it’s just detail on people’s faces or the texture of houses take a moment to register when I fast travel.
