Will there be aging and if so what will it entail?

It would be cool if our characters age. If that will be a mechanic how will aging affect our character? Will physical abilities suffer while mental skills such as crafting, medicine, etc, increase as we grow older and wiser? Will characters eventually die of old age leaving our possessions to a successor who’ll be our new character, who would benefit from our previous characters reputation, social status, titles, and possibly training from their predecessor (previous character)? A lot can go into something as simple as age.

Aging would be a really cool mechanic and i would love to see something like this implemented.

Unfortunately the game only takes place over a few months period of time during spring to summer. There are to more Acts (games) planned if this first ones is successful enough them to be made but who knows how long period of time they will take us with this character.

We will just have to wait and see.

The time in the game flows only on the level of night/day. As the events in the first act span across one month (roughly), there is no aging of your character also seasons are not changing etc. etc. Of course you can play the game for unlimited number of days but the time spent in the has no big impact on the gameworld.

While it would be very cool, I think this would enlarge the scope of the work for the team so immensely (the trees alone for four seasons - urgh) that I can’t see it for KC:D and not in the following acts either.
