I recently contacted Warhorse Studios about whether or not they will allow let’s plays, walkthroughs, reviews, etc. I hope that they will as it would be great promotion for the game.
Well, they said this in the AMA.
Q: What is your policy on YouTube monetization for commentated gameplay?
A: We are fine with that.

they say commented gameplay, that doesn’t mean alpha, which is for testing, not gameplay.
the alpha is not a demo.

I’d like a response of warhorse on this though, as a “Let’s play Alpha” could get them additional purchases. Is there a way on the forum to ask for Warhorses’ opinion about this?
I don’t think they will mind if people do it in the Alpha, because then more people can see what the game is about it will also get people more excited and even better they still have time to influence the game by donating and getting access to the forum, if there’s something the consumer loves it is to have influence over the product and having a say in how it should be implemented.
Also, since they’re waiting 6 months to release the Alpha, i think it’s going to be sufficiently presentable.
