WISHLIST! What do you guys want from this game?!

Considering that there was a huge raise of literary levels in the country after 1380s that affected also common folk (including women), will our humble blacksmith be literate? Will there be any quests involving deciphering of text? @warhorse

I want moon light, shadows by the full moon, and a dinamic moveing moon, also different shapes of the moon would be nice by day to day.

More bugs, better water reflections with the moon  and also a moon rocket (jk)

save anywhere option…
and in the future some multiplayer or co-op option that would be insane, not counting on it but that would realy be perfect. maybe a later act

Would love to see a job system, where you make money… Just like Shenmue. That will be cool. Rather than just trying to sell stuff… You can actually have a job like in real life.

I pledged today but I have high hopes for this game. The Devs want our opinion and so we shall give them one. A couple of my wishes might sound a little crazy for Medieval Europe as most of the time, A peasant never became more or less. They were at the bottom and for that I would really like to see a class system of sorts. So you choose your background as either a Lord’s son or daughter (Since female characters will be added) you start off in the world with a good amount of currency and maybe a small piece of land that you can build on. If you start in either the clergy, you own a parish which is technically a small piece of land that is owned by the Church and you don’t have any knowledge of combat but you are extremely charismatic and this would be a class for pacifists and charismatic. However, you can become a noble from this and I would like to see that implemented. Either by fighting in a war or doing great things. Next up are soldiers and merchants. Basically the middle class. The Soldier would be good for people who want to strong and combat able characters from the start. You are able to start a mercenary company or become a great soldier in some of the factions (If there are any). Merchants are above peasants however in truth they are just peasants with money. You don’t own land however you are a little bit more charismatic and you can haggle better and even start your own trading company which in due time can become a medieval East India company. If you want to be a peasant well, there are three choices. One, you can be the poorest of the poor which no money, no food, no land, and is extremely hard to rise up to. But you can become a soldier or even a merchant if you help people. The Middle peasant (I know there was probably no such thing) has a small home most likely a farm, an optional family, and no money but makes a living off farming. Next we have the Highest peasant class which means you have a little bit of money, just a teeny bit bigger land and can immediately rise to a soldier or merchant and unlike the middle peasant, can become a Clergy member if they meet the right person like a missionary. So essentially, you can start at the bottom and rise to the top through either slower or faster means, or start at the top and go to the bottom since the land is engulfed with war and you rise again, or you can start in the middle and start a merc company and become a lord in military fashion. It’s the players choice and a class system can represent how the player is in Medieval society and his reputation is a big factor in this. I’ve noticed small details of the class system but this will truly show just how brutal medieval society could be. This is my only current wish as I have just started playing however in due time I will probably have more wishes. This game is very beautiful and I am eager to see how our opinion as backers could impact this wonderful game. A Medieval Open World RPG with survival elements and many other things in this game have been my wish. I hope that my opinion will shape this game to be better. Thank you.

Glad I can welcome another member of our community among us.

But what you wrote is something you will probably never see. (unless someone heavily mods the game)

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is story driven RPG. You have set character (Henry the blacksmith) and set story.
So you are just blacksmith and thats it. You wont become noble, you wont lead armies and you wont have your castle.
This is just a story of a man in country torn apart by war.

Simply put, it is more similar to Witcher than Mount and Blade

Well said my good Duke.

Thank you and like I said it is highly unlikely that it will come to be. And the game with its story driven character, I already like it. And I agree highly that the only way it can come is through some heavy modding. Well said Duke.

Very well said! I love the Witcher series so this will be indeed a medieval treat!

Really…this actually makes me a little sad now.

I’d love to see mass in the church in this game. Villagers gathers up at local church on Sunday and priest preaches, as Gregorian chant is sung on the back ground…smth like that.
I’m no christian so don’t know much about Christianity, but it will add another detail to this game I think.
We have seen many churches in medieval RPGs, but how many of them has played their original part practically?
They were merely an empty building, so I’d like to see something different in this game.

There will be at least one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAyc_mBkjXA

My wish: realistic clouds. Not just almost clear, haze or dull overcast. But I can live without them, there are higher priority tasks for release I guess. Graphics is perfect and nature is pretty precise (although I don’t know Sázava region and forests are little different every 50km … but just from flora you can tell it’s mid June)

I want to rape in the game and when you steal people clothes they are naked…i want to play my character as Ramsay Bolton from game of thrones.

Ramsay is a cool character. However, I would more enjoy playing my game as Daenerys Targaryen :stuck_out_tongue:

So spend months in a town far from the action doing nothing? Should be doable.

In depth NPC interaction and relashionships, at least a chance to own a farm, marry a wife, have sex etc.

I want the game to be a sandbox type, kind of like Mount & Blade with realistic combat and better graphics.
I has all the right bits for it already lined up (apart from the map and ownership of buildings/towns).

Mods my friend, mods…

That’s the only way we’ll see these elements in this game.

Thanks for the video, I have never seen it before.
But what this video all about is micro-detail of church building itself. I want WH to create how NPCs interact with this place actually.
Not only church, I want to see also:

  • People chatting with each other at tavern
  • Helping each other at work
  • Villagers will also buy at shops
  • Not only player but also NPC commits crime and hunted down
I can imagine these kind of feature will require enormous budget and resource, but the Mass at churches could be a reachable goal because I see little randomness in people’s behavior compared to above activities.

how about being able to start your own settlement, start off with a hut or a house and then actually become a keep/castle. also possibly being able to recruit AI into protecting the settlement or even possibly ride along with you in your missions or ect. Im not talking about only bringing one guy like Skyrim, im saying if you want to bring 5 men or 20 men or 100, well dam why not. and as for a quick idea here, how about we could recruit the guys in the missions so instead of getting them killed by bandits and we cant do anything to save them give those AI a chance and let them serve there master’s in taking over these lands and help me become king… MUAHAHAHAHAHA… ehh hummmm… I mean, protect the lands
