WISHLIST! What do you guys want from this game?!

In other words, you want completely different game.

That would be awesome!!!

in other words when this game is going to be 100% complete and we have achieved all the missions and e.c.t, I would like to rule some piece of the land. Keep the player occupied and not just have us wondering in the world with nothing left to do then poke chickens and attack civilians. they want to give us a full medieval experience well then give us the luxury of having our land. and by the way its a open forum wish list and that is my wish. doesn’t mean I’m going to get what I want and personally think this would long the gameplay of any player who is interested in Full medieval experience.

Of course you can wish of it.
I just think that it absolutely doesn’t fit this game.

may I ask why

Because Kingdom Come is story based rpg game. Not a simulator of medieval nobleman.
And I canƄt imagine how things you mentioned would be implemented in the game.

I just want the game to work as it stands at the minute!

Some kind of virtual museum of craft would be nice. Like people repairing chainmail armor, making, welding and riveting rings, making charcoal, doing laundry, using cranes at construction sites etc.
Repairing fences, fishing and crafting swords is nice and it adds some realism.

These can already be seen being done by NPC’s in the beta.

I want armor from the main character “William Thatcher”, from the movie “A Knights Tale”. I think his armor looks pretty freaken sick for being so light and durable.

Polearms! Give me a big halberd, with a long point for sticking and an axe head for slashing! Polearms with distinct advantages as long as you can keep your opponent at a distance, but means trouble if you mess up and let a swordsman get close–kind of like it would be in real life I believe.

That would be awesome . but how would it be affective vs armor? that pointy part whould be able to go trew thing layers or the helmet but other then that how would it be good vs an knight? you would need a high stamina and strenght to use it effectivly.

That is what the pickaxe end is for. If you swing it, the combination of weight, length and tiny impact area makes its impact force on par with bullet.

And the large spike on the end.

One thing, the most important one:
don’t release the game before it’s completely finished.
and if you need one year more, take this one more year.
that’s the first RPG medieval game I know, and it needs to be great! if the money runs out, make a new round of crowd funding. I didn’t know about this game back then, but I would definitely participate!

Yep, these were my thoughts exactly when I saw this photo of the halberd! The shape of the pickax side seems to be made to penetrate armor and hang there, allowing a foot soldier to dismount a knight. The long spike end, made strong by being four-sided ( + ) is thin and would surely work very well at finding openings in plate–near the underarms or any other area where the plate must be jointed. Then there is the axe itself, which would surely be deadly against unarmored or lightly armored (leather perhaps) enemies. I could also see the butt end used to turn a charge by someone who is trying to get in close–a side-step and a butt-stroke from the side should keep the enemy from getting in close, where the halberd would be at a disadvantage.

i feel like you want a different game. maybe look for something in the fantasy genre
maybe dragon age.

as for my wishlist, a lot of them are things which have been mentioned as being planned but:

  1. crafting (not just potions but also furs, leathers, cloth, shovels, axes, scythes, swords, shields, etc)
  2. more realistic expiration times on food (come on salami lasts for at least a month)
  3. more potions (come on yarrow extract
though
does yarrow grow in bohemia?..suppose it could be imported.)
  4. mounted combat
  5. booze
  6. beer
  7. alcohol
  8. hooch
  9. mead
  10. brewing alcohol
  11. distilling alcohol
  12. the ability to knock on a door and call for the inhabitant and ask to come in (my options now are stay out or trespass)

This wish I wrote in czech part of forum, So I decided to write it here too.

I do not know whether this proposal somebody already wrote, if yes, sorry :-).

I’d love to feature view of myself. For example in inventory have a option of fullscreen how my figure look. At this point, it’s a little preview, where many details of clothing lost (I do not know it will be the final inventory change). Surely you’re ready to play a huge amount of clothing, armor, etc. It would be nice to look at it closely, not only to see it on other NPC.

So have option for full screen view, where I can see the whole figure, plus I can look at certain parts, eg. Gloves, helmet, breastplate, etc.

I know, that all has been already mentioned, but anyway I’d like to add my 2p as well:

  • mounted combat
  • gunpowder weapons
  • diseases and their treatments (via alchemy, herbs etc.)

I just wish developers would keep us in touch. Like, really in touch.

Since beta, not a single word. No mention of how beta launch went, how quickly are they getting this horrible mess of a beta into better shape, how much they underestimated problems that rose, what they learned, what will be totally changed, will there be further patches
 nothing!

Makes me worry. And feel distrust, being early supporter and being kept in the dark like this. “All is ok” type of PR-crap is not honest updating. This forum is chock full of suggestions and bug reports, not a single answer from developers. Are we writing onto a wall somewhere in the middle of the desert? Or is entire community only handled by some single poor PR manager who couldn’t answer any questions anyway?
“We’re busy making the game” isn’t excuse neither. Most of the threads here take a single afternoon to get general grasp of.

Dan says in some videos that they work together with community and listen to players. Why don’t I see it anywhere?
This is the stuff I think needs immediate attention.
