No ability to save other than saviour schnapps, and you only have three of those. No, or minimal check point saves as well. Just lost well over an hours game play. Even slept and it didn’t save. Feel like ranting but always willing to admit that I just don’t get the genius of it all.
Is this a new problem?

Habe you updated the game to version 1.9.0?
That´s a typical error when using MODs.
Use only MODs which are updated to version 1.9.0 or none!
It’s not a bug just a game play issue. When playing Theresa you cannot save using a bed - you get “there is no time to waste”. Presumably this is on purpose. So you are limited to using savior schnapps, which you have only 3.
I was playing 1.9 with no mods.
Sorry didn´t realise you are talking about the Theresa quest line… 
Yes, that´s the same like with Henry in the prolog (till he comes to Rattay).
But you can buy more.
Also the easiest way to get more… go into Henrys house. You can steal 3 schnapps out of the living room chest.
Or you help Bianca, she gives you next day some schnapps.
Or you find the Skalitz treasure.
Or at the entry of one mine shaft.
Or in the mines… there is an easter egg.
Or…
There is enough schnapps for saving.
