I saw some videos on YT and im not convinced that its worth yet. The Framerate looks super low, like between 15 and 20 and i just wanted to ask if you guys could help me with my decision. Have a nice day, Philipp
Yes, that is true. The reason for this is, that the Beta is not optimized yet and already over a year old, because we don´t have time to upgrade the beta, as we focus stricktly on our releaseversion. The release version will be way better optimized, as we are working on it a while already, and we still have some time till release to do so.
It is up to you if you want to try out the beta, or wait for the final game.

My experience is that the arena area and the final battle were a bit choppy.
Most of the rest was fine (~30fps) on fairly modest hardware (i5 2400 (technically below minimum spec) with 16 GB RAM and GTX970 )
IQ makes little difference to frame rates, so I ran with the highest preset.
Do complete the tutorial at the military camp/arena in order to get the very basics of combat, but I’d go hunting bandits and cumans, or just follow the story once you have the basics understood, as the generally higher framerate/smoother frame times elsewhere make combat easier to practice.
There are help pages off the main menu, do browse through them all, there are some helpful bits of information in those too.
Trespassing and stealing are considered crimes, so be aware of that before waking up the bailiff* at midnight with the contents of his larder in your pockets… *or indeed anyone.
Beds (or at least straw pallets can be found in many barns and outhouses, as well as at various places in the woods. I think the bathhouse is also a legal bed, and the herbalists don’t seem to object. Most other beds can cause trouble. Sleeping is very slow, due to background AI (the primary cause of low frame rates), this is not by design and will be optimised in final.
Wounds can bleed heavily - bandages stop this loss of health over time (multiple often needed for a severe wound), but food (to a limited extent) or sleep are the most commonly available means of recovering health after an injury.
